Over the past few years, I have been very clear. Strengthening supply and value chains will not be easy. But for economic security and growth, it is vital. This is why I commend former Prime Ministers @stephenharper and Jean Chrétien for putting aside partisan politics to regain the foreign investment deficiency Canada experienced for 10 years under Justin Trudeau. Canada has what the world wants. We need investment to unlock our economic potential. I had the chance to tour CN's Walker Yard today in Edmonton and learn more about the work that keeps Canada's rail network moving safely and efficiently. Walker Yard plays an important role in CN's operations, helping keep goods moving across Canada every day. In Saskatchewan, spring seeding is three weeks later than it should be, and people are stressed. They're burning the midnight oil and the candle at both ends. To the farmers in my riding and across Saskatchewan, take a breath, try to relax, and be safe out there. All Canadians are feeling the impact of increasing costs. Government needs to act. That is why my @CPC_HQ colleagues propose removing the fuel tax on gas and diesel. It would provide an immediate impact without creating more bureaucracy. #cdnpoli #skpoli

Yesterday, we met with Randy Hoback (@MPRandyHoback), Member of Parliament for Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and Vice-Chair of the Canada-United States Inter-Parliamentary Group. We discussed Ontario’s priorities ahead of upcoming CUSMA negotiations and provided an update on the actions being undertaken by our government to build a more resilient, self-reliant, and competitive national economy.

Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in a panel on agri-food trade and its role in driving economic growth. Thank you to @CAGlobalAffairs for hosting a great discussion.

I rose in the #HOC this morning to urge all levels of government to work together to deliver emergency response, evacuation support, and disaster assistance to our communities affected by flooding. To those back home, your bravery, strength, and cooperation have helped save people’s homes and property.
