I don't think a memecoin like base:0xb20000000000000000000040d29e37e54435f101 has ever existed before. Where traditionally a memecoin uses a mascot, basenoun abstracts away that need by making a vibe the central memetic focus. The coin has a purpose, and invites you to join it on its mission. The mission to make @base memes great again. It might be the polar opposite to solana:Dz9mQ9NzkBcCsuGPFJ3r1bS4wgqKMHBPiVuniW8Mbonk coin. Its more abstract nature perhaps makes it a right curve meme, it's not immediately obvious to someone first seeing it *what* basenoun is. But nothing is stopping you from left curving it, we certainly have fun and love joking around, but will always remain committed to the goal. The goal isn't to be the best and compete with others for attention, you set yourself up for failure doing that in a landscape where a tiny handful of people direct capital through social channels. The goal is to bring everyone up with the success basenoun has in order to make base as a whole the best. In this way basenoun is an unvampable coin that's impervious to PvP from other coins. We congratulate the well deserved wins of others. Other memes will at first glance be more central in basenouns own content because there is no "basenoun" character, basenoun *is the culture*. The basenoun vibe *is what base memes distil down into*. Basenoun permeates through everything on base implicitly. Its ambiguity means it's infinitely remixable and can maintain a memetic velocity no matter what the "meta" might be, and its mission driven philosophy makes it semiotically deeper than most things could hope to be. The blue line art isn't just a pleasant way to draw things, it represents a desire to bring glory to base memes, and respect to base. Something that I think builders and bagworkers on base have long deserved - I know of no harder working people in the cryptosphere. Basenoun is not a meme on base, it is all memes on base. Basenoun is the essence of base culture packaged into a tradable asset. It's as though the coin shows you base through a the lens of having lived and breathed base for years, in some kind of based psychosis, perhaps. Basenoun creates a story that unfolds before your eyes each day, and invites you to be a part of it. It welcomes you in to participate in base culture, and to help shape it, because that's how we all win together. It is perhaps the most unique coin in all of crypto, and for that I think it, and therefore the rest of base, deserves to be repriced much higher.
