Bloomberg reports that the UK's Andy Burnham is considering requests from Saudi Arabia for military support against the Houthis/Ansarollah.
The likelihood of the UK getting seriously involved is close to zero. It would be madness if it did.
But the real issue is the desperation it signals that the Saudis have made the request. The dilemma KSA finds itself in is profound.

What strikes me most about this review is how thoroughly the Palestinian experience disappears into a debate among Jews about Zionism.
Palestinians don’t experience Zionism as an abstract intellectual project or a fork in Jewish history.
