You know what else other jurors said?
That it was 10-2, 2 being guilty, and they were slowly badgered down to changing their vote.
I am NOT speaking to dv allegations or supporting it here, but the facts are:
-The DV charges were dropped. The man was NOT legally barred from serving on a jury.
-The DV allegations occurred in 2021.
-The restraining order filed by the now 18 or 19 year old (at the time of the alleged assault) did not involve an arrest or conviction. He didn't "punch a 13 yo in the face."
-Massachusetts population is 10% black. Just think about that.
-This man is being doxed and hounded by the press. Theyre discussing his eviction and finances.
Do you REALLY believe there's spotless records for the remaining 11? Not a single dui, speeding, quite possibly another dv charge, bankruptcy, eviction, collections, etc? No investigation by child services?
We don't know, because no one is invading their pasts and publishing it like it's headline news.

I've long believed that cases like the Lindsay Clancy one are proof of how badly we need to revamp mental health laws so people can be involuntarily committed BEFORE they kill someone, and the women who organized whatever this is are just more evidence of that. Reopen asylums now.

Yes, and then everyone who wants a pitbull will run out and get a Cane Corso, Dogo Argentina, or Presa Carnario. Or - God forbid - Kangals. Then all the "ban pitbulls!" people can get to know some TRULY dangerous breeds.
The problem is the owners, not the breed. Ban the breed and the garbage owners will pick a different one just as problematic, if not more so. Figure out how to limit ownership of ALL power breeds to people who can prove they have the temperament and resources to responsibly own them and you can actually tackle the problem.
Pit bull ownership would drop to zero overnight if they made that the law. Everyone knows that pit bulls are dangerous, some just like the feeling of superiority it gives them to pretend like there's no difference between their pit bull and a beagle.

Given how many people in this country need to be involuntarily committed and aren't, it's enraging that someone who KNOWS she needs to be admitted and WANTS to be admitted wasn't. And then is left alone with her children by a husband who was told not to leave her alone with the children.
She had POSTPARTUM PSYCHOSIS. She KNEW something was wrong. She tried to get help MULTIPLE TIMES. Tried to be admitted to inpatient psych but they kept dismissing her saying she was fine. She tried different psychiatric drugs. She BEGGED & PLEADED FOR HELP && NOBODY gave a FUCK!
She killed her kids after trying so hard to keep them& herself safe and after she did that she tried to kill herself but ended up living and now she’s trying to plead her case to a bunch of people AGAIN!!! Everybody failed her AND those children.

On top of the fact that she in no way looks or moves like a man, this is just flat out bad acting. Literally the kind of performance you see in an entry-level acting class. Just embarrassing in every aspect.
This clip of Ellen Page in the Odyssey is so awful that I don’t care if the rest is the best film ever made, I’ll never pay to see it. An embarrassment to the source material, an embarrassment to everyone involved and an embarrassment to their offspring. Mildly hilarious though.

My daughter is going to be very unhappy about getting dragged to this movie on her 14th birthday and I do not care. This genuinely looks fantastic.
