I used to say "I'm 17 going on 72" to describe what living with chronic pain, chronic illness & disability as a teen felt like
Now that my mom and her peers are in their mid 60s-70s they're finally relating to my lived experience
And it's not lost on me that teenage me was very right lol. I did in fact feel 72.
I'm thinking I'm 132 now
