💯
This afternoon, Senate Democrats proved they were never truly serious about protecting consumers and preserving American leadership. I sat at the table with Senate Democrats working in good faith to get this done while they played games. For over a year, they presented demands and the second we met them, they made new demands and moved the goal posts. Today they voted against real limitations on politicians’ personal crypto investments. They voted against protecting American consumers from the scammers and fraudsters this bill would have shut down. They voted against American leadership, and handed China and every one of our foreign competitors exactly what they wanted. Democrats chose politics over the American people—again. That’s not leadership on their part, that’s surrender to their radical, socialist base. The once-proud Democratic party is anti-consumer and pro-illicit finance, anti-ethics, anti-free enterprise, anti-worker, anti-livable wage jobs, and pro-socialism. The Democrats are now anti-American. Sad!

Not going to happen. But I’d love to be wrong.
🇺🇸 TODAY: The CLARITY Act vote is scheduled for 17:15 UTC. Republicans need support from at least seven Democrats to advance it. Will it pass?

well, this sucks
Former and current Anthropic employees are now posting that they “earnestly believe AI could kill all humans.” This company is expected to hit $2.5 trillion in market cap in its upcoming IPO. What part of the cycle is this?

easy !
ripple:native might be crypto's most misunderstood 13-year-old. Everyone has an opinion on it. Few can explain how it actually works, starting with the biggest myth of all: that @Ripple controls it. In reality, Ripple runs just 1 validator out of 35 on the ledger's default trust list. Inventing the road ≠ controlling the traffic. We untangle the rest in "A guide to one of crypto's veterans" 👇

With our new proposal, the SEC is taking the most historic step yet to modernize federal securities regulations for crypto assets. As the Crypto Capital of the World, the U.S. must and will lead. Regulation Crypto Assets will ensure that we do. 🇺🇸

Looks like it
Tim Scott says Elizabeth Warren’s team wants to run crypto out of the country. Period. Scott says Democrats keep moving the goalposts on the CLARITY Act, which has grown from under 300 pages to over 600. The message is clear: it’s time for a vote. 🇺🇸 #CLARITYAct #Crypto #XRP

We have some difficult news to share. Unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. This affects new customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal who received an order within the 90 days prior to August 8th, 2026. The data exposed: - Full names - Shipping addresses - Phone numbers - Email addresses The incident affects 11,742 customers with full exposure (name, email, phone number, shipping address) and 1,947 customers with partial exposure (name, city, email). The breach is limited due to Trezor’s strict 90-day data storage policy (we were also able to negotiate the same terms with fulfillment partners, who follow the same policy). All affected customers have been contacted separately by email. Our systems and devices remain secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts. NEVER enter your wallet backup on a website or share it with anyone, and only check for updates on official Trezor channels. We are deeply sorry to the community and those affected. We are investigating this situation and will post updates on our blog: trezor.io/blog/news/recent-c…

Everyone is focused on the catalysts — the yen, RCT, PA, etc. But whatever comes next still needs a hardware and connectivity layer to actually move data and value globally. What if Starlink is part of that foundation? Not the catalyst itself, but the infrastructure that allows the catalysts to scale. Just connecting some dots. 🌕 @ChadSteingraber @JoelKatz @AbsGEC @digitalassetbuy
