📍Mapbox Boundaries 4.7 is now available, with more than 300,000 new and updated boundaries across 62 countries in Europe, Asia, and South America. This release includes 91,701 new boundaries, updates to 264,647 existing boundaries, a full refresh of European boundary data, high-resolution postcode boundaries for the United Kingdom, updated districts in India, and new worldview and international boundary updates across several countries. Boundaries 4.7 also continues support for minor version suffixes, making it easier to switch between specific dataset versions. We built an NYC Neighborhood Finder — a conversational app where you describe what you want in a neighborhood and an AI agent recommends specific areas, then highlights them on an interactive map. The interesting part: the agent isn’t relying only on general knowledge of New York City. It actively uses Mapbox APIs to look up real-world businesses and addresses before generating its recommendations.
