I slowly built a position in $WBD over a few months and got a 12% return from today's news. When you get a Merger arbitrage work out, you suddenly get in the mood to do others. Suggestions welcome!

One of Dario's arguments in his piece is that he fears a bot swarm taking over the entire internet. This means we at least should start to have a plan on how to act if the entire internet goes down at some point. What are some simple preparations the average person can make?

As I’ve said before, what the market doesn’t appreciate is that all defence procurement in Canada now needs melted and poured Canadian steel. And Algoma $ASTL.TO is the ONLY mill in Canada meeting the requirements. ctvnews.ca/northern-ontario/…

This company has a monopoly on the defence sector in Canada and it’s priced as if bankruptcy is imminent (It’s not). This Company is a buy even if it never is able to ship steel to the US ever again

What if I told you that every time a gay guy had sex - you could earn money in the public markets from it? Too good to be true? Not quite. It's time to start earning a Royalty on Gay Sex. Here is the value thesis in $GRND 👇 🧵

Monetization is still in its early innings: • Tiered subscriptions (XTRA / Unlimited) • High-ARPU power user features • Proprietary gAI integrations • Monetizing high-intent local traffic High operating leverage means high margin expansion on each incremental dollar

This fits my thesis on $ASTL.TO . This company is just too politically important to fail and has a monopoly on melted and poured purely Canadian steel. Its a buy even if the US never opens its market to Canadian steel again.
We’re lowering the cost of moving Canadian steel so we can get more of it onto job sites across the country — and strengthen our supply chains here at home.

One very obvious flaw of his “we need to maintain a balance of power and give everyone a super intelligence” is that it just takes 1 super intelligence to destroy the world once. There is no guarantee the other super intelligence’s can stop every attempt always.
I believe everyone should have access to superintelligence, and I wrote a long piece about Meta's philosophy and values for building a positive future for everyone. meta.com/thefutureisforevery…

I like watching these but I do find it funny that @CathieDWood evidence that oil prices are going to crash is that UAE increased oil production by 1 million barrels and they are investing in AI piped.video/COmxq7bh-fM?t=1547

The interesting part of this @elonmusk interview is when she asks him “if money won’t exist in 10 years why should anyone invest in your companies?”. They change topics but I wish she stayed on it. The implication is actually a bit dark.. piped.video/watch?v=XuoqKYxD…

I dont necessarily agree there will be no money in the near future but if we accept this prediction as fact, one way of interpreting it is that investing in his company today is more like voting that you want the company and him specifically to be in power post-singularity.

I.e in A post money future, owning shares is more like voting who gets to be in power.

I nominate Robert Pattinson to play Leopold Aschenbrenner in the eventual movie

Listened to the Tesla Q2 earnings call. Musk apparently was sick during it. This is relevant to nothing but just thought it interesting. The first earnings call I’ve listened to where someone mentions they are ill.
