"لو أنفقت ما في الأرض جميعاً ما ألّفت بين قلوبهم، ولكن الله ألّف بينهم". ولعل فيما أكتبه اليوم مما علّمتني الحياة من دروس وعِبرَ ما يكون عوناً لك، ومرشداً في طريقك، ومعالم تهتدي بها في دروب الحياة. حمدان .. علّمتني الحياة لما يقرب من 60 عاماً في الحكم والحكومة وسياسة البشر أن الناس تحتاج حاكماً يسمع قبل أن يحكم، ويرحم قبل أن يعاقب، ويعطي قبل أن يُسأل، ويصل الناس قبل أن يوصَل. علّمتني الحياة أن الشدة في العدل هيبة ورحمة، واستقرار وضمان للازدهار، وأن الظلم ظُلمات، وخراب للمنجزات، وتراجع للحضارات. إياك والظلم يا حمدان لأنه لا ينام. دعوة المظلوم فوق الغمام لا يحجبها عن رب السماء شيء. وما قامت بلادنا يا حمدان إلا بالعدل بين الناس، وإنصاف الحقوق، والأخذ على يد القوي قبل الضعيف، والقريب قبل الغريب. ولا تضيع البلاد حين يكون العدل ميزانها، والرحمة عنوانها، وسيادة القانون فضيلتها التي لا تحيد عنها. علّمتني الحياة يا بنيّ أن أختار حولي من الرجال أصدَقهم، لأن الرجولة تبدأ من صدق الكلمة، ووفاء الوعد، وقوة القلب. والذي يكذب عليك لا يخون الحقيقة فقط، بل يخون ثقتك وعقلك وأمانتك. الصادق يا بنيّ ناصح، والنصيحة وإن كانت تؤلم مرة فإنها أفضل من الوهم ألف مرة. ولقد رأيتُ وعاصرتُ الكثير من القادة الذين حكموا دولاً كانت كبرى، وأمماً كانت عظمى، أحاطوا أنفسهم بالمخادعين والمنافقين فزيّنوا لهم الأخطاء، وباعوا لهم الأوهام، وأخفوا عنهم الحقائق، وأبعدوهم عن الناس، حتى عاشوا في فقاعة العظمة الزائفة، فتراجعت دولهم وانهار اقتصادهم ونكبوا شعوبهم. الثقة المطلقة فيمن حولك يا بنيّ مفسدة مطلقة؛ فالنفوس تتبدل، والمصالح تتغير، والقلوب تتقلب. الحكمة في ترك مسافة، والابتعاد عن المجاملة، ووضع أطر للمحاسبة، حتى لا يفقد القانون هيبته ولا يتمادى القريب في خطئه وفساده. أنظار الناس معلقة على من حولك .. فإن رأوهم فوق القانون استهانوا به. ولا تسقط هيبة الدول إلا إذا شعر القوي أنه فوق النظام. علّمتني الحياة يا حمدان أنه كلما اقترب الحاكم من الناس، اقتربت الدول من الاستقرار والازدهار، لأن محبة الناس قوة للحاكم وأمان للمحكومين. وأعظم الحكام أكثرهم رحمة بالناس. انظر إلى زايد وراشد طيب الله ثراهما .. رحمتهما بالناس وقربهما منهم جعلتهما في قلوب العباد وبنت لهما مكاناً ومكانة في النفوس، فهما باقيان خالدان بمحبة الناس لهما. إن كان الناس ينظرون إليك بعيونهم فانظر إليهم بقلبك يا حمدان. ارحم ضعفاءهم، وأَعِن أبناءهم، وتولَّ أمورهم، فليس العظيم من يخدمه الناس، بل من يخدم الناس .. وليست العظمة لمن ملك السلطة على الناس، بل لـمن ملك قلوب الناس. هذه بعض من دروس الحياة يا بنيّ، ومما علّمتني عقود من الخدمة والحكمة .. ولعلي أكتب لك غيرها، أسأل الله أن ينفعك بها. لست أراك إلا عظيماً كريماً يا حمدان، محباً للبشر، ساعياً للخير، مسارعاً إلى المكارم، وأنت أهل للمكارم وهي أهل لك. وفقك الله ورعاك وسدّد على طريق المجد خطاك. أبوك المحب .. محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم
