One is cumulative investment across an entire technology sector, the others were individual government projects. But that distinction may actually make this more interesting. For most of modern history, mobilizing capital on this scale required governments, wars or enormous infrastructure programs. Now we’re doing it to build intelligence. And we’re still very close to the beginning. The next phase is likely to be even more capital intensive: data centers, power generation, transmission, chips, cooling, robotics and entirely new industrial supply chains built around computation.
