Last 8h for
@Collector_Crypt’s public sale and I’m genuinely impressed by the demand.
Almost 16k
$SOL (= $3.5M) have already been deployed for 5% of the
$CARDS supply.
In my view, this is only the beginning for Collector, and this milestone will mark the start of a beautiful growth story:
1) Collector has been in parabolic growth recently, breaking one volume ATH after another. In the past month alone, nearly $22M in volume ran through the Gacha machine. That’s around $260M annualized volume, converting into $13M annualized earnings. Already impressive numbers - but imagine what’s possible with more budget, more people, and real marketing.
2) One of their biggest bottlenecks has been simply keeping up with demand. The product was so hot they could barely buy high-value Pokémon cards fast enough to keep the Gacha machine running. With the majority of the raise going into their card treasury, I expect this bottleneck to ease and growth to accelerate from here.
3) Let it sink in how niche they are right now: Pokémon cards on Solana for the Web3 bubble. The expansion potential is endless: other card collections, new IPs, new ecosystems, moving beyond Web3. I’d be surprised if they don’t already have plans lined up now that capital is no longer a blocker.
4) All of this was achieved without spending a single $ on marketing.
@TuomHolmberg and
@JoeMunnsHK have just hustled for years, fueled by passion to build a product people truly love, while growing a strong and loyal community from scratch. Now imagine what they can do with millions in the treasury.
I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather get excited about a consumer product with real pmf like this than the next random L1 no one cares about.
Collector is looking damn good here.
