Optimist; blessed w/family, friends, life. A proud; some say accomplished music, media, marketing; people pro. Life is short. Love is the energy that fuels it❣️

When, to the best of our human ability, we can maintain a high level of consciousness, the lives of those around us are inexplicably enhanced. It's part of the 'ripple effect' which spreads out in far-reaching circles of positive energy and kindness. — Chelle Thompson, Editor

Oooh baby it’s going to be a cluster at the Cobb cloverleaf this afternoon with Braves baseball at 6:00. Good luck y’all. 🫣

No fan base hates a win more than @CuseFootball’s. The one pointer over UConn was a gutty one that could have ended their season had it gone the other way. They’ll clean some things up with this lineup. Fun things ahead.

I’m trying to think of a woman I know who hasn’t told me some terrible story of either being assaulted, actually being raped or being coerced under threat of some kind. It’s staggering how few I can think of. Makes me a little sick tbh.

It’s time to end Greek Life on college campuses. We all know how it works and many of us have witnessed some shaky stuff because of it. The leverage of power held by those incapable of wielding it correctly has made it toxic. Where’s an Executive Order when you need one.

This is a nightmare scenario. Bottom line, if there’s fog there, get off the interstate and go local. Just awful.
Hey @NWSColumbia just got word of a major collision due to fog on the I-95 bridge over Lake Marion from one of my Orangeburg County Fire contacts. Was told at least (6) Tractor Trailers and (10) passenger cars. No word on the severity of injuries or anything at this time.. just wanted to make y’all aware.

If you’re still for executing humans after that travesty in Tennessee, you are on the wrong side of Jesus, that I promise you. This madness needs to stop. Forever.

That was worth staying up for. #Bellinger

Men can choose to not do this. Men can choose to treat women the way they would like to be treated (I suspect that most men, when extremely drunk and high on ketamine and having reluctantly consented to some limited sexual activity, would not find it pleasant to have their condition advertised as “free ass” to random men on Snapchat). We can create a culture in which men who treat women this way are considered reprehensible, pathetic, and worthy of scorn, whether or not they have technically committed a crime. slate.com/life/2026/09/corne…

Gas up, Georgia!
BREAKING NEWS: Governor Brian Kemp declares a state of emergency and suspends the state motor fuel tax for 30 days, starting Tuesday. That is 33 cents a gallon for gasoline and 37 cents for diesel. The tax is charged at the distributor-level, so it could take a few days to kick in. #gapol

You okay with 47 spending our money to prop up his suffering ego with a multi-million dollar plus broadcast TV buy? No? It’s also illegal.

Anybody else still reeling from the conclusion of @DeadliestCatch? Man, what a heartbreaker.

Can we just let the Whitehouse think they’re going to run the table on the midterms so we don’t have to deal with a desperate false flag incident or other chaos prior to the election? Wouldn’t be hard to do.

Chris Spatola scored 1,543 points at West Point. Fifth most in the history of the academy. Then he graduated, put on the other uniform, and went to war. He served five years as an Army officer. He was a company commander. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and he came home with the Joint Service Commendation Medal, awarded for what the citation called exceptional combat performance. Then he came back to basketball. In 2007, Mike Krzyzewski hired him at Duke. There is something in that worth sitting with. Krzyzewski played point guard at Army from 1966 to 1969. Captained the team as a senior. Then served in the Army and was discharged as a captain. Spatola played guard at Army from 1998 to 2002. Then served in the Army and made captain too. Two West Point guards, 33 years apart, on the same bench. Spatola was on the Duke staff from 2007 to 2012. Four ACC Tournament titles. The 2010 national championship. He was a court coach for USA Basketball, for the team that won gold in Beijing in 2008 and gold at the world championship in 2010. He also married Krzyzewski's daughter Jamie. They had three children. After coaching he went into television. He joined ESPN in 2015 and spent a decade as one of the most thoughtful voices in college basketball, because he had been a player and a coach and a soldier, and he talked like a man who had been all three. He ran a basketball camp for kids in Durham every year. Chris Spatola died unexpectedly this week. He was 47 years old. ESPN said he was thoughtful, prepared and passionate about the sport. The Krzyzewski family said they had no words to adequately express their heartbreak over the loss of "our beloved Chris Spatola," and that he "served our country, was a devoted husband and father, and was such an important part of our family." Seth Greenberg put it shortest. "Heartbreaking. Such a good soul." He leaves behind a wife and three kids.

I’m just saying that I could put together a truly killer band for @edsheeran. Monster players who understand that the privilege is being paid to create art. Everyone who isn’t paid for their political opinion should really just shut the fuck up. Unless your @JamesTaylor_com funny
