Saddening but not unexpected from @ZohranKMamdani
I just left a screening of the 47-minute film documenting Hamas’s October 7 atrocities. The Jewish community formally invited Mayor Mamdani to join us. More than 100 seats. Every single one occupied except one. His.

Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists carried out the October 7 attacks, killing nearly 1,200 people and taking hundreds hostage. Today, we remember the innocent lives lost and stand with the Jewish people as we reflect on President Ronald Reagan’s unwavering commitment to Israel.

Nevada approved voter ID in 2024. Now let’s finish the job. Question 7 needs a second YES vote to amend our Constitution. I support photo ID for in-person voting and identity verification for mail ballots. Vote YES on Question 7. 🇺🇸 #VoterID #Nevada #LasVegas

Michigan kids are not all right. Fourth graders rank 44th in reading. Fewer than one in four can read at grade level. It would take a miracle to turn things around—a Mississippi Miracle, GOP governor candidate John James says. @downi75 on the ground for The Washington Star:

An absolutely atrocious statement that epitomizes the Mayor’s deep antisemitism and anti-Americanism. And of course, the senior aides around him who painstakingly helped write this vile garbage are so imbued themselves with antisemitism that they don’t even realize how heinous this is. There is a reason both Democrats and Republicans are condemning this absolutely tone deaf and outrageous statement. October 7, 2023 was the bloodiest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust when innocent civilians including Americans were raped, slaughtered, and killed by Hamas jihadist terrorists.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

In January of this year, the remains of the last hostage finally came home.   As we mark this solemn day, I am standing firmly with the families of the victims and the Israeli people. We will never forget those we lost and those who suffered in this vile act of terror.

Breaking: "As retired senior military leaders and legal experts, on this, the third anniversary of Hamas's October 7, 2023 brutal attack on Israel, we reject claims that Israel committed genocide in Gaza." @jinsadc I am honored to be a part of 76 retired U.S. officers (including 13 Generals, 27 Lieutenant Generals, 19 Major Generals, 5 Brigadier Generals) Refuting the Genocide Allegation Against Israel. jinsa.org/wp-content/uploads… "The precedent established today regarding Israel will shape the conditions under which American forces fight tomorrow. Protecting civilians and preserving the ability of our nation to defend itself requires us to defend the truth when the laws of war are being distorted to make false charges of genocide."

Desecrating the memory of murdered, innocent Jews today of all days and refusing to even condemn Hamas is obscene. There are 364 other days you can wrongly criticize Israel for defending herself. If you had respect for the dead, you'd just acknowledge the tragedy, but you don’t.

I have to take a moment from my son’s bedside, on life support after being struck by a Palestinian terrorist, to respond to the dangerous lies being spewed by @NYCMayor. It’s actually hard to find a sentence in Mamdani’s post that isn’t a lie. Paying lip service to the victims of October 7 just to spread blood libels about Israel might play nicely to the red-green/communist-Islamist alliance that he promotes in the U.S, but those of us who know better see his perverted language for what it is. This man is a defender of Palestinian terrorism, a promoter of antisemitism, and an advocate of anti-Americanism. Even today, October 7, he can’t help but attack the Jewish state with absurd accusations and outright propaganda. Let’s be clear: the only attempted genocide in this conflict was perpetrated by the barbarians he supports, Hamas, who butchered, raped, and murdered in the most horrific ways imaginable. There is no genocide, ethnic cleansing, or famine in Gaza. Hamas embeds itself among, behind, and beneath the people of Gaza, knowing that the IDF will not, ever, intentionally target civilians. It robs its own people of the humanitarian aid that Israel has facilitated into Gaza since the war began. Hamas knows that its allies, including Zohran Mamdani, will regurgitate its lies, demonizing Israel and endangering Jews everywhere. Israel and its allies will not be deterred from defending civilization against terrorist savagery. Those of us who envision a peaceful and prosperous Middle East, will root out the evil that is Islamic terrorism and build a better future for all, Jew and Arab alike. If you want to understand the extent of the lies told by Mamdani and his radical Islamic commrades, you can read the truth in my book, “Manufacturing a Modern Blood Libel,” here: linktr.ee/israelinusa.

Aaron Ford wants a promotion after spending 420+ days away from Nevada. For the last 3.5 years, I’ve fought every day to make our neighborhoods safer, bring accountability to our schools, and build an economy that gives every Nevadan a chance to get ahead. Nevadans show up every day - they deserve a governor who does the same.
