Yes, you read that right. We had to file an emergency petition in the Supreme Court just so we could use government data to help states stop noncitizens from illegally voting.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to resume its expanded voter citizenship verification program, which lets states use Social Security records to check voters' citizenship. Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson dissented.

This is going to cost us the midterms. While we would want Republicans to tell us how they are going to address cost of living, at this point just getting them to acknowledge the problem would be great.

The Bureau of Elections & State Board of Canvassers slow-walked the certification for ensuring ONLY CITIZENS VOTE in Michigan, denied it, and then said it was "too late" for important evidence that could have put the petition on the ballot.
We are going to get to the bottom of how this happened, why this happened, and give people access to expert testimony through our select committee to see how broken the system is and how we can fix it.
Michigan Democrats have an uncanny ability to get ballot proposals certified quickly.
If you look at the certification speed for Michigan ballot proposals since 2018, a pattern emerges that seems to line up more with a party rather than public support.
Over 700,000 Michiganders are having their voices silenced. We are going to get to the bottom of this.

@UAW leadership is so scared that they endorsed the wrong guy that now they are telling every Michigan factory worker who didn’t work for the Big 3: YOU didn’t work in the auto industry.
Never mind the fact that Abdul has never worked a manufacturing job in his life.

Called my shot on this two weeks ago and I was totally right, even down to the names of the activist groups and people he was working with.
I don’t miss.
Former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon became a media superstar after going public with his AI fears. He insisted that he wasn’t working with any third party organizations. Familiar sources told us a different story: DEY., a PR firm representing many of the most prominent AI safetyists, was booking his interviews.
One source, who had direct knowledge, even said DEY. preemptively booked Nate Soares, a prominent AI safety figure, for interviews that directly overlapped with Jacob going public.
Jacob working with DEY. is notable for two reasons: first, as mentioned, he previously said he wasn’t working with third parties. Second, we are in the middle of a national conversation about the future of AI that is actively determining how we regulate the most powerful technology in the world, largely thanks to the panic stirred up by Jacob — and it’s in the public’s interest to know who, exactly, is behind it.
