"It's unfortunate the Attorney General is defending the interests of an offshore company instead of the interests of the ratepayers," Craney said. "Offshore wind is the most expensive energy source, and the Attorney General was completely silent when their turbine blade broke off into the ocean, polluting our ocean, sea animals, and shores. The Attorney General is showing her allegiance to these foreign offshore wind companies instead of the ratepayers of Massachusetts. Craney was pointing at the July 2024 Vineyard Wind blade failure south of Nantucket, when a GE Vernova blade shattered and sent fiberglass debris washing onto the island's beaches. MassFiscal is urging a YES vote on Question 5. Question 5 would change the way Massachusetts’ Chapter 62F tax refund law works, making automatic taxpayer rebates more frequent. Tufts’ Center for State Policy Analysis estimates Question 5 could trigger refunds 2–4 times as often and return 2–7 times as much money to taxpayers, averaging roughly $200–$250 per year across refund and non-refund years. @pauldiegocraney explains what Question 5 would mean for Chapter 62F, taxpayer refunds, and why MassFiscal believes more of that money should be returned to the people who earned it. The Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance says the endorsements of nearly all political incumbents by the union illustrates it feels content with the state’s current economic status.

“More heavily unionized states are seeing more job losses. Unionization makes reforms much more difficult.
