Zelenskyy reports that today's Russian strikes on Ukraine killed 25 people. 19 of them died in Pryluky in a missile strike on an ordinary apartment building. 5 of them were children.
Overall, 25 people were killed in this massive Russian strike on Ukraine. One hundred people were injured. It was a combined attack, involving many ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as “shaheds.” This is the kind of “gift” Putin gave himself for his birthday. Ukrainian warriors shot down 44 missiles – both cruise and ballistic. Not all of those launched by Russia, and ballistic missiles are especially difficult to deal with. We suppressed 117 “shaheds” – most of those launched, but unfortunately, not all of them either. Additional packages of air defense missiles are needed, as are additional measures to support Ukraine. And there will be appropriate packages. The threat is there every day, and every day, our air defense batteries need to have missiles ready. We strongly count on prompt deliveries from our partners.

And the @NHL continues to allow Ovechkin—a supporter of that terrible murderer and criminal Putin—to appear publicly on the ice. The NHL and every team owner know full well that this stance supports and prolongs Russia's imperialist war and costs a vast number of human lives!

Anyone remember the "sanctions from hell" that the @gop said signaled that Trump was definitely NOT Putin's whore? Bill was signed 3 weeks and Trump has spent that time attacking Ukraine, taking sanctions off Belarus, praising Putin and NOT putting sanctions on Russia.

During preparations for a 2018 military parade, Trump told staff not to include wounded veterans because he felt amputees did not "look good" for him. After a ceremony where Captain Luis Avila— a severely wounded Army officer — sang “God Bless America," Trump told then-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, “Why do you bring people like that here? No one wants to see that, the wounded.” A five-time draft-dodger said that. Thank you to ALL veterans — regardless of political affiliation or limb status. You deserve a president who respects you.

❗️Today I want to sincerely thank the Czech people for everything they have done for Ukrainians since the start of the full-scale war. Your support has been swift, practical and truly substantial — Ukrainians will remember it. Czechia was among the first to transfer T-72 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, RM-70 multiple rocket launchers, Dana self-propelled howitzers and helicopters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Later, Prague became the coordinator of the international ammunition initiative: thanks to it, millions of large-calibre artillery shells reached Ukraine and helped reduce the enemy’s firepower advantage. Czechia also took in hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees — one of the highest shares relative to population in the EU — and provided humanitarian aid both as a state and through public fundraisers, including the “Gift for Putin” initiative. Thank you, Czechia. 🇺🇦❤️🇨🇿

Now, while rescue operations are still ongoing in our cities following the latest Russian terrorist attack, while rubble is being cleared and the wounded are receiving assistance, Ukraine extends its condolences, with particular sorrow, to each and every person in Israel and other countries who lost loved ones in the vile Hamas terrorist attack of October 7, 2023. Ukrainian citizens were also among the victims. It was the largest and most brutal attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust and an attack on civilization itself. There can be no forgiveness for it. Tragically, nearly 1,200 people were killed. Hostages were abused—children and innocent people. Every terrorist must be held accountable for what they did. Likewise, no other act of terror and no other war of aggression rooted in hatred should be forgiven or forgotten. There have already been far too many killings in the 21st century, a century that should have been, and must still become, entirely different. People deserve peace, security, and respect for human life. World leaders, and everyone with real influence and power, must truly stand up for life when it matters. The world is certainly stronger than any terror.

Exactly! What the fascists did to Ukrainians during World War II is now being done to them by fascist Russians. And the @NHL allows Ovechkin—a supporter of these Russian crimes and of the worst Russian criminals, led by Putin—to continue appearing publicly on the ice! Disgusting.

S.Korea refuses to sell weapons to Ukraine But S.Korea is perfectly fine selling fuel to russia for it genocidal war & profiting from it What a shitshow by the S.Koreans
1/ As Ukrainian drones wreck Russia's refineries, Moscow is scrambling for fuel. Some of it comes from South Korea. Over 176,000 tonnes were loaded at Korean ports in July-Aug on to tankers including sanctioned ones. My investigation for the Guardian: theguardian.com/world/2026/o…

El-Sayed: Trump wants everybody to know that he’s on the ballot. I want everybody to know that he’s on the ballot, too. Mike Rogers is a vote for Donald Trump. I want him to come and say it for himself. And I think he’s too afraid. I know that all of Rogers’ people are being like, “Please don’t come, sir. Please don’t come.” He is the best speaker on behalf of the Republican Party. How dare they tell him not to come… So, Donald, if you’re watching, don’t wuss out, man. Don’t be told what to do by Mike Rogers. You should come. You should go as many places as your little heart desires. And you should tell everybody why you’re on the ballot. Your tariffs are on the ballot, and your war is on the ballot, and your drapes are on the ballot.

All 32 NATO Military Representatives arrived in Kyiv for an official visit yesterday. It is the first time the Alliance's Military Committee has visited Ukraine in eight years. Led by Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, the delegation met with Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief, Mykhailo Drapatyi, and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to discuss front-line updates and military priorities. Allied representatives also held a solemn ceremony at the Wall of Remembrance in Kyiv to honor fallen Ukrainian Defenders. "The bond between NATO and Ukraine is stronger and stronger. In facing Russia's continued aggression against Ukraine and its reckless hybrid activities in NATO countries, we stand unwavering with Ukraine in the heroic defense of its sovereignty, its territorial integrity and the future of its people. Ukraine's courageous and resilient spirits remain unbreakable and serve as an example to other nations. An example that combines with all the lessons we can learn from your commanders, from their experience, which will ultimately help our alliance too, to better face today's and tomorrow's threats. To answer those who think that by perpetrating acts of sabotage, cyber attack and violation of the airspace in NATO territory, they will undermine this support and our resolve, I will respond, you are failing. NATO's support for Ukraine continues to grow and our unity is stronger than ever. Russia bears full responsibility for this dangerous and unacceptable behavior. And allies will continue to sharpen their tools, strengthening all elements of our deterrence and defense," Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone said.

The same South Korea that doesn’t sell weapons to Ukraine because of neutrality? The same South Korea that is attacking Ukraine for not apologizing strongly enough for sending them two North Korean POWs and disclosing it, after months of public discussions about it?
South Korea sold fuel to Russia using two vessels (Layla and Astoria) under EU/UK sanctions. Quite a bad look for Seoul as it claims high moral standing in its PoWs spat with Kyiv. theguardian.com/world/2026/o…
