Anyone else think the person who earns the most votes should be elected president, not the winner of some harebrained electoral college system?

Yeah. America is thrilled at the prospect of a few populous areas dictating in perpetuity to everyone else. The Framers knew better.

Considering right now the elections are being decided by a bunch of unpopulated flyover states it’s about time the more populous took command again.

California gets 2 senators for almost 40,000,000 people 13 Midwest states get 26 senators for the same amount of people. Convince me that is fair to the PEOPLE not the land.

Each STATE gets 2 Senators. Originally, Senators were selected by State governments, not necessarily by popular election, since their job was to represent *states* on a equal plane, not the population of those States. Another check.

The Constitution is 4400 words; far smaller and far more vague and simplistic than the avg HOA Bylaws.

Yea if land voted, we’d never have another democrat win an election.

The Framers knew that 1 person bludgeoning 5 others was preferable?

Right, because a tyranny of the minority is SO much better. Stop acting like “The Framers” are all-knowing. They literally had slaves. Ranked choice voting is miles better than the unrepresentative Electoral College. Seek halp.
