I spend a lot of time around people who have never worked in software. Reading Twitter, you'd never know how much those people currently hate software, "tech", and especially AI. Maybe the Twitter bubble doesn't care. But if we're not building for them, who are we building for?

I think that this narrative that somehow bad tech choices or devs caused the problems is unhelpful. All tech stacks including Angular, React, Svelt and Vue perform badly once they collide with real world constraints. We need a novel approach that does not front load the JS.
