I promise you’re not even slightly prepared for how INSANE this story is. Not only has the town they’re in not had a single COVID case in months but it was originally founded as a commie bar for lesbians where paying was optional. Eventually almost no one paid the cover fee (predictable) and 2 of the original owners left. The full time mask requirement left them almost no business. One of the owners left to go to CLOWN COLLEGE. The drama here is that they’re making masks optional for ONE NIGHT OF THE WEEK! In a town with NO COVID cases…. I mean it would be nuts if there was COVID too but how are they so delusional that they think they need to mask with zero cases!?! The one remaining owner is living in her car because the commie business model is failing so terribly. She can’t pay herself or her employees. Her detractors, who have been bar patrons, have been attacking her as well for sometimes forgetting to use alt text on social media posts, which they call ableist and dangerous. 😂 Some responses she got to ONE night where masking would be optional: "PEOPLE LIKE YOU KILL DISABLED PEOPLE" "YOU’RE COMPLICIT IN A MASS DISABLING EVENT" "I HOPE YOUR VENUE GETS FIREBOMBED" So… 😂😂😂 Next she brings in a mediator to hear out the crazy people. The meeting goes off the rails almost immediately because the mediator (who’s a therapist) is White. They then said she was a mandatory reporter who could force hospitalize them. They said the mediator made them feel "wildly unsafe." The owner is 50k in debt on the business loan and living in her car. When she brought this up they said she was spilling White Tears for sympathy which they found "incredibly racist." The meeting went on like this for nearly 4 hours. Long story short: these leftists are literally insane. So insane that clown college seems like the most intelligent move in this deranged story. 🤡 You can never let them have any power.

Emily and the White House’s efforts here are going to be legacy items. This was Emily’s day 1 priority. I remember her telling me we could fit nuclear reactors in closets and they could power towns. And WH staff made it happen.

I wonder what effect ‘victimhood glorification’ has here. Life is hard and unfair, as a rule. This won’t be an easy post. Nothing about cancer is. And when the patient is your 17 yr old son? It is harder still. Jesse has acute T-cell lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-ALL). His treatment will last 2-3 years & impact his junior and senior years. The next few weeks will be a whirlwind - and very difficult for Jesse. We have already logged 26 hospital nights (both on the oncology floor and in the ICU) based on how aggressive his treatments need to be: a necessary function of a cancer equally aggressive. Please pray for Jesse’s pain level and endurance. His brother Noah and sister Grace back at their respective colleges and will need their own type of strength to do the work before them. Please pray for their peace of mind. One thing is clear in all of this: God’s purpose in this trial is a good one, and He is continually trustworthy. People will watch women's sports. We watched Serena and Venus, Simone Biles, and Alysa Liu. With leadership that boldly welcomes and rewards stardom (ahem Caitlin Clark), we'll watch the WNBA too. Sophie doesn't think the existing WNBA commissioner, who can't even define woman, is that bold choice, and who can argue.

My friend @emundz42 is an absolute patriot and her work has been historic. President Trump’s plan to unlock nuclear energy is one of the greatest policy accomplishments of any administration in memory. It is one of the building blocks for America’s reindustrialization. It took lots of unsung heroes to get it done, and Emily was one of them (alongside my good friend Austin Raynor, another great patriot). Emily expertly coordinated this policy from the top, guiding it to the finish line. It is some of the most incredible work I’ve ever seen in government. I have no doubt she will be as successful in the VC world as she was in government. Congratulations also to @CalebOrr__. He’s one of the admin’s brightest minds and will excel in his new role.
