I had a very “overgraded” 1933 PSA 6 in 2M serial numbers. Was bad enough grade discrepancy that eBay Auth had it decertified. Had to regrade and it was SGC 3. I fear this will happen on many PSA 10 slabs w/ old cert#s and are obviously not PSA 10 now. Ditto other grades too.

Several of the earlier flagged duplicates (different seller) are also still listed, and are noted as "altered". Did those descriptions come from failed eBay/PSA authenticity reviews? Fake and altered are in the same ballpark, but can also have very different meanings.

@dcsports87 discusses what to look for on the fake red and gold refractors they received. Looks like the perpetrator used magenta /399 to make the red /5 and yellow /275 to make the gold /50. Wipe the serial # off and somehow add a new serial #. @CardPurchaser @findyourtrove

I know people cry Top all the time but at this point we have to be getting near it. Most Lv X PSA 10s are $100k+. Same with Gold Star PSA 10s that arent the dogs. And it's not repack money either. WIth this many sales there'll be an influx. It's just too much.

It looks like at least several of these cards with the "don't use" serial numbering made it into packs.

DCSports87 also sold a 2025 Topps Chrome Update Flagg True Gold numbered 6/50 earlier this month. However, another account is currently selling a true gold numbered 6/50 that he pulled in mid-August. Seller confirmed he still has the card. Topps really ought to weigh in.

A significant wave of scam accounts I previously reported has finally been banned, and new staff has been assigned to accelerate report processing. Real momentum is finally building to clean up the category. Started my sweep today with Victor Wembanyama and immediately ran into an eBay listing from a concerned buyer asking if Beckett cert numbers BJ082818–BJ082823 are legit. ebay.com/itm/366596767856 Certificate numbers are strictly unique. That buyer guaranteed bought a fake, dozens of rogue sellers are cycling through these exact same cloned numbers right now. @beckettcollect needs to deactivate these compromised cert numbers, there aren't that many of them. Always ask this question before buying, not after. A quick free search on checkcoa.com/ exposes all these clones instantly, even while Beckett’s lookup is offline. Scammers, I’m coming for you.
