CGC for Sale? Whispers started about a month ago that Blackstone could be looking shop/move them. That chatter has picked up a lot this week. I would put this is the rumor/gossip territory for now but there is ALOT of smoke around this one. I also still firmly believe Fanatics would not want to buy them.

At this point I would believe these are either true fakes or some sort of reject that was supposed to be destroyed and either walked off or ended up in packs. It seems like now that people are looking more and more examples are popping up.

Several of the earlier flagged duplicates (different seller) are also still listed, and are noted as "altered". Did those descriptions come from failed eBay/PSA authenticity reviews? Fake and altered are in the same ballpark, but can also have very different meanings.
