There’s also room for B-roll. Supporting the conversation with relevant visuals can make a clip more engaging, especially when the speaker is explaining an idea that can be represented visually. The session pointed to resources like Giphy for finding visual material to work with. And there was one important rule throughout the process: Don’t make up the data. When selecting clips, use the timestamps that actually appear in the transcript. Be honest with your assessment, and don’t inflate a weak moment just to make it look like a great clip. If the stream doesn’t have a strong moment, that’s okay too.
