A drone needs power. It finds a charger, verifies its identity, receives a price quote, authorizes payment in USDC, and settles on Arc. No human checkout. No waiting. Just machines transacting with machines. This is the agentic economy, live on Arc.

CNBC just filmed a hedge fund where every employee is an AI agent. Payroll: $40,000 a year, all 4 of them. His last team cost $5,000,000 and burned him out of the business. Watch him introduce the staff. > Houston runs the place. > Doocey is the red team. His only job is to break every trade idea before money touches it. > Steffi, yes, Steffi Graf, marks up the charts. >Desmond runs the quant strategies over the weekend. The human kept one job. He calls it the meat in the chair. Pressing the button. 7 or 8 people in New York, Hong Kong and California could not cover a crypto market that trades at 3am. 4 bots do. He started them on Claude Opus 4.6 and they have not slept since. 10x the output, his number, not mine. 527,000 people watched this in 8 days. Your timeline skipped it. His forecast for Wall Street, on camera: one hedge fund manager, 1 or 2 humans under him, a swarm of agents under them. And for himself: "Maybe someday old BK will just have to be at the beach"
A hedge fund manager wrote his investors a goodbye letter. The crypto market that never closes had broken him. 17 months later CNBC filmed his new fund. 4 AI agents, zero humans on payroll, $40,000 a year all in. Nobody in it sleeps. The letter is still on X. 769 views. You run the same f*cking shift he quit. Hyperliquid at 3am, a Bitcoin alert in bed. You just never had $5,000,000 of payroll to prove it wasn't working. From the letter: "Markets that never close have taken a toll that I could only fully recognize once I paused." From the CNBC clip: "If it's 3 in the morning and I have an idea, I can just ping them. I don't have to worry about waking somebody up in the middle of the night, which I may or may not have done in the past." 7 or 8 people in New York, Hong Kong and California. $5,000,000 a year. Could not cover 3am. 4 bots, started on Claude Opus 4.6. $40,000 a year. Never off. 10x the output, his number. > Houston is mission control. Every bot reports to him. > Steffi, yes, Steffi Graf, marks up the charts. >Desmond runs the quant strategies over the weekend. > Doocey is the red team. Every thesis gets attacked before a dollar moves. Two Sigma keeps 1,700 people on that job. Behind them sits what he calls the corporate brain. Every trade, every email, every piece of research is a node, wired to everything else in the firm "almost like neurons". "Take a staff of 100, you've got a staff of 1,000" "I've talked to people working at big hedge funds now. They're doing something like this." 527,000 people watched his clip in 8 days. Brian Kelly kept one job in it. He calls it the meat in the chair. The market still never closes. He just isn't the one awake for it anymore.

Oxford researchers just published a paper arguing LLMs cannot invent anything. Mathematically impossible. The reason is simple and brutal. A model trained to predict the next word can never believe something the existing data says is wrong. And every real breakthrough in history started with exactly that belief. In 1903 every prediction machine on Earth would have told the Wright Brothers that human flight was one to ten million years away. Nine weeks later they flew. Not because they had better data. Because they had a theory the data hadn't caught up to yet. That is the gap between AI and human thinking. LLMs mirror the past. Humans reason into a future that doesn't exist yet. Oxford just proved mathematically that those are two different things. I use these models every day. This matches what I see. The new stuff always comes from the human at the keyboard who decides the data is wrong. LLMs don't think. You do.

🚨BREAKING: The SEC has proposed reopening public crypto token sales to U.S. retail investors, potentially reviving ICO-style fundraising. Crypto startups could raise up to $5 million without full SEC registration or investor caps, while larger projects could raise up to $75 million annually. The plan would also create a legal path for qualifying tokens to exit the investment-contract regime once issuers complete or permanently abandon their promised work.

Machine-to-machine payments are live on Arc Testnet. @tlay_io showed two physical devices negotiating and settling USDC payments on Arc every 10 seconds, with no human in the loop. One device broadcasts a live electricity price. Another decides whether buying power is profitable, signs a USDC payment, and settles on Arc. A concrete look at what the agentic economy can become when it moves beyond cloud agents into physical AI and autonomous machines. arc.io/blog/how-tlay-is-buil…

ELECTRICIANS, READY OR NOT? THE ROBOTS HAVE ALREADY REPLACED YOU. One humanoid robot is already taking on one of the most dangerous jobs on the site. High voltage. Live electrical panels. One wrong connection can have serious consequences. This robot works under human supervision, handling repetitive and high-risk electrical tasks with steady precision while keeping people out of harm's way. This isn't a futuristic concept. It's happening now. The companies that deploy humanoid robots first will improve safety, increase productivity, and gain an advantage while everyone else struggles to hire skilled electricians. Would you trust a robot to work on a live electrical panel?

We are moving towards to AI economy. HumanAI to AI, Machine AI to AI, and AI to AI…..this is a fundamental evolution of what we thought was possible a decade before….but now this is fast becoming a reality…. The question is now if the AI economy will happen, but rather how do we balance it with wider society goals ?

Zenith Co-founder & CBO @HeslinKim took the stage at the Louvre last week at @proofoftalk, joining @Metaversebizz from @vodafone's Pairpoint, @bc1pxxx from 5North and @zeneize from @joinrepublic for a panel on how regulated institutions deploy on @CantonNetwork. A conversation that would have seemed premature two years ago is now happening in one of the most iconic venues in the world with practitioners who are already in production. Canton is on everyone's lips and Zenith is what opens it to every Ethereum developer. Zth.
Speaking at the Louvre at @proofoftalk was an amazing experience. @CantonNetwork is on everyone’s lips these days. Thanks to these gentleman for an excellent panel: • David Palmer @Metaversebizz (Co-Founder, @vodafone's Pairpoint) • Luca Burlando @zeneize (Head of Infrastructure, @joinrepublic) • Yiannis Varelas @bc1pxxx (Founder, 5North) Definitely attending Proof of Talk for all future events. Takeaway: winning. Zth.
