I have to admit. you made me laugh out loud.

Ah...not at the moment. It's an expensive undertaking for an indie author, but it is just a question of time. With the success of the series and the significant market and demand for audiobooks, it's time to roll the dice.

No argument from me, which is why I wanted to be sure my main character didn’t come off as a “superhero” - she’s a former CIA analyst, not a “lioness”, she’s a digital forensic expert and hacker, and her medically retired Navy SEAL husband taught her to shoot, and life taught her to carry.

Having built two successful high-tech companies, I’m reminded of an interview—a brilliant software engineer, held multiple patents related to our project, and could clearly have contributed to our product. He called me when he didn’t get an offer, saying he’d “never interviewed for a position that didn’t result in an offer.” What I couldn’t tell him (lawyers and all) was that his ego would have destroyed my team, ultimately the product. Intellect alone is not enough. Ignore that lesson at your peril.
