Theo Von: “What’s really going on with data centers?” John Kiriakou: “This has to be intel-related.” “Look at the companies that are involved.” “Palantir.” “NVIDIA.” “Abraxas.” “These big companies that either took CIA investments to get started as seed money or are staffed by retired senior CIA officers.” Von: “Is the CIA now spying on our own people?” Kiriakou: “Oh, yeah.” “That’s what Ed Snowden warned us about.” “Without Ed Snowden’s revelations, we wouldn’t have any idea that NSA and CIA were spying on Americans.” “And this place in Utah, he and Julian Assange told us about Utah.” “This new compound in Utah that NSA has built has enough memory storage space for every phone call, every email, and every text message from every American for the next 500 years.” “According to Ed Snowden, NSA, CIA, other governmental organizations are scooping up all this data, and they’re just holding it.” “Why?” “Until the immediate post-9/11 period, if the government wanted your information, they had to go to a federal judge.” “And the judge had to say: that’s a legitimate reason, I’ll sign the warrant.” “Now, they just write something called a national security letter.” “They give it to your provider … and they just turn it over.” “Or they go to these new data centers and just put your name in … and everything pops up.” “You don’t have any legal protections.” “They just take whatever they want.” @TheoVon @JohnKiriakou

BEWSHET! The newer data centers use about as much water as these liquid cooled gaming PCs. Fear mongering. Closed-loop liquid cooled data centers only use external water sources during the initial fill. After that, they're as dependent on outside water as your car's coolant system.

None of these are closed loop systems

I bought a gaming PC about a year ago and not knowing they're liquid cooled was a surprise to me. Usually electronics and liquid don't mix, but now I GOT THE TUBES! I GOT THE TUBES!

Go stick your hands in some data center wires while touching water please

The majority are NOT closed loop

The projected demand for AI energy needs is 144% of our current capacity. Thats doubling all the power we currently make and then some. The scale of whats being built is so over the heads of most people, that the question of "why" isnt asked, instead its just believe the AI or surveillance lie. Now, what would a full Westworld/Matrix AR demand?

62 square miles of water - all over the country. They wanna do one in my town at an old warehouse building. We ain’t paying for all that

Not at all accurate. They mostly use evaporative cooling- hence the constant need for water.

And what cools the coolant?!
