Polarizing because Ryan Cohen knows how to run a business and make a lot of money..? Or polarizing because darn near everyone in the Financial Main Stream Media, majority of analysts, even PhD's of Universities that are being manipulated to spread false messages..?
If you don't believe me, I have the documents, court filings, interviews, posts, and financial disclosures (and one very large ex-Treasury Secretary Ethics Waiver RED flag) to prove why the masses are being manipulated. The opportunity and incentive to create the false messaging is all there, and it all points to the reason why. Dated, Time Stamped, and in Public view for anyone to see.
Unless you've been following the real GameStop story since at least 2020, you would never know. GameStop's business is generating more Year/Year operating income in the previous two quarters of 2026 than GameStop has ever made in its history, even compared to those years that GameStop had three times the revenue. That, and a current Balance Sheet built for grabbing faltering companies, to accretively add to GameStop's business, is all you have to see.
I don't think you know Ryan Cohen at all with that statement, imo. It is not because I have ever met Ryan, but I have done my research on his life and business ventures. Remarkable business ventures that began when he was literally a kid in his early teens, and then Chewy in his mid-20's. Amazing track record, an Amazing mentor, father, and business man who instilled his greatness in his sons.
My dogs made me a sticky customer at Chewy a long time ago, and when I figured out why, I'll never shop for my doggos anywhere else, but at Chewy. We've had more than our fair share of dogs, and when our recently departed pup, Lucky, went off to play with his new friends, I hope he finds Ryan's Tylee, and is happy again.
Ryan has the recipe, and believe it or not, it is pretty simple. Yet, not one of Ryan's competitors have figured it out, and taken it to scale. Not a single one. So if you meant polarizing as a good thing, as Ryan is the only CEO of a public company that takes zero compensation in exchange for his work, then I would agree with you.
Ryan is as close to 100% aligned with every shareholder of GameStop as possible. Not everyone has the same timeline, but the exact same long term investment strategy is exactly 100%.
There are not many like Ryan. But the people he surrounds himself in business, are maybe another reason why Ryan Cohen is the best. If you want to see a literal A-Team of Operators, look no further than GameStop's Board of Directors. Insane talent, with the record of success to prove it.
Not to mention, Ryan informally introduced me to Mr. Pompliano, with their recent interview. And you probably wouldn't be replying to his post if you didn't know his accomplishments. I think Anthony might agree with me. Ryan is a mover, an operator, and knows how to get things done, and win the loyalty of his team, customers, and owners who believe in Ryan's methodology to achieve success.
