Do you consider 14% of retirees the “vast majority”? 14% of retirees (about 1 in 7) rely on Social Security for at least 90% or more of their income, according to federal tax-linked data from the U.S. Census Bureau and IRS records.

Texas beat the best team in the B1G, right? Doesn’t speak well for that conference if Texas stinks and beat the best team in the B1G, does it?

Mark, at least she speaks her mind while you, who were once an actual conservative, are now a pure shill with no principle.

It didn’t “get children killed”, drama queen. Major anecdotal misuse of statistics. Kids go to school in the dark now, but they want to play sports in sunlight when they get home. We all do.

I’d give her more of a pass if she wasn’t a former player. She should know better. As to the misogyny, when everything is misogyny, nothing is. Those claiming it here are making that the perceived reality.

Nah, it adds urgency to many, many more teams. Everyone has a longer relevant season. Fan bases are fully engaged for much longer thinking they have a shot. 16 is the right number, but 24 is better than 12.

When The Great Society was introduced. It created a semi-permanent underclass and the incentives to stay there.

Because they paid into the system for their entire career, based on the expectation of a return. That’s why.

They both had the opportunity to join a real league, and turned it down. So…they made their own bed. They don’t get to play patsies every week for decades and then claim a big boy share of the revenue.

Fans pay to watch their school, their state play. Who is in that uniform is of little consequence in college. We cheer for the name on the front of the jersey; not the back. The student athletes are the beneficiary of the support for the school.

Everyone that cares about college sports is vested in this. The only people who aren’t are the agents and union bosses…. and those in their pockets.

So huge benefits to all non-MBB and FB players…the majority involved, so it’s a bit of a no-brainer Seth. FB and MBB players also see their cap more than double…maybe under in absence of your poll. The people against: Union bosses, agents, and the reporters and politicians in the pockets of both. That’s the list.

Nope, it’s 100% what’s best for college football. It would be insane to think otherwise. He’s retired, it’s meaningless to him now. Unless you want Union thug bosses and agents running things and calling every shot, then you want this bill.

Nah, they get rich from the fans of the University and state, not the individual players. Who is in that uniform is of little consequence.

His record at the Dolphins was significantly better than the guy before him and the guy after him. His point was that players are replaceable. You could for the entire team and bring in new ones, and the fans spend the same. It’s not the NFL. We cheer for the name on the front, not the back.
