The United States may be entering the most dangerous period since the defeat at Fredericksburg in 1862. It is clear that our will to survive is declining. According to America’s New Majority Project 55% believe the Iranians really mean it when they say death to America (62% of independents). Nearly two thirds of Americans (64%) believe the nuclear threat is real. The Iranian refusal to negotiate in good faith helps convince 60% that the nuclear threat from Iran is real. In fact 64% of the American people believe that a nuclear armed Iran could target American cities and kill millions. A series of Presidential Oval Office addresses laying out the 47 year history of Iran attacking Americans, killing Americans, supporting terrorist groups to kill American and working consistently to build weapons to bring “death to America” would solidify support for an all out effort to replace the religiously inspired dictatorship which has proven again and again that it can take a tremendous amount of punishment and continue to work toward destroying America. We have to either defeat the Iranian dictatorship or accept a willingness to coexist with Iranian nuclear weapons and missiles capable of destroying our citizens and killing millions. We are at a crossroads and there is not a third choice.

But somehow Trump is the threat to human dignity. Pope Francis was bad. Leo has turned out to be worse. Francis at least was vague about his politics. Leo went and hired the consulting firm. I have just seen the unedited footage of the October 7th attacks. Please read: What I saw was young men chopping off heads, shooting everything in sight, slaughtering little crying kids calling for their mummy, throwing grenades inside houses and cars and shelters, maiming bodies, playing with them, setting humans on fire, looking like it's the happiest day of their life. They call their relatives to celebrate how many they have killed. The parents back in Gaza are thrilled. They cheer and ask for more. "Bring back some heads for the people to play with" - asks a commander. The savages wilfully oblige, using flick knives to remove the skulls from slaughtered bodies like butchers carving up a carcass. "Bring some home for the people so we can crucify them in the square" the Hamas leaders order. The mangled, blood soaked bodies of hostages were paraded through the streets. The Gazan crowds cheered and filmed, celebrating or coming to spit on the terrified youngsters in the back of pick ups. The young Hamas brutes with their ecstatic grins, taking selfies, shouting Allahu Akbar, looked like so many of the young men in dinghies. Trendy clothes, modern phones. Energy and conviction.
