I've been building companies in B.C. while politicians talk about it. Business, politics, and anything in between.

Eby wants another four years. Here's what his cabinet did with the time they had. One minister at a time until Oct. 24. What they promised, what happened, and where they failed. First up: Bowinn Ma 👇
Bowinn Ma, North Van-Lonsdale's MLA since 2017. The North Shore rapid transit she pushed for is still a study. Her government cancelled seven care homes in April. Her neighbours will pay about $590 more a year for 30 years for the sewage plant. #bcpoli #NorthVan

Making more than $1M to fund Healthcare while physicians are one of the largest groups making more than $1M a year. Sounds like a great plan. In business we just call that pay cut.
NEW - @Dave_Eby says he will create a new tax bracket on people who earn more than $1m annually, to tax the wealthiest British Columbians to help pay for health care costs.

The European mind can't comprehend: I just drove 10 hours straight, my timezone changed and I'm still in BC! Nothing like the Kootney's fall. Supporting local in Cranbrook.

I think I hurt tbe babies feelings. Unlike you man child, I can live in tne city and also enjoy the rural and appreciate those who actually feed us and do productive work.
Replying to @MiladicViews
cry more ruraloid, we are where the people live

Urbanites didn't build BC or Canada.
Most of BC are urbanites, 60% of the population lives in metro Vancouver alone

Average NDP voter has never left the city and has no idea most of BC and Alberta are ranchers. Uneducated, and living in a bubble.

I continue to get beaten up from both side.
Replying to @MarcDalton
You see, these were all for tax savings.

Eby tomorrow: If you vote for me, I will stop Phobos! We stand for Mars.
Mars' largest moon Phobos is slowly spiraling inward and could break apart to form a ring or collide with Mars in about 50 million years.
Community note
The video appears to be a CGI simulation, not real spacecraft or telescope footage. NASA confirms Phobos is spiraling inward and may form a ring or collide with Mars in about 50 million years. science.nasa.gov/mars/moons/pho…

Can we get a price guard on your deficit too? It went up another $450 million last month.

Your average NDP cheerleader. Fear mongerer and conspiracy theorist.
Lorne Doerksen says he’s not going to cut services British Columbians depend on. But he’s appointed @BindaCarson to one of the safest Con seats in B.C. - the Carson Binda who has repeatedly urged cuts to government of a scale that will mean cuts to services. BCers aren’t gullible enough to fall for this.

Eby caught with his pants down again! If the NDP wins there will be a vehicle Levy, and I promise you there would be savings in gas.
Translink responds to my earlier tweet regarding their on-going structural revenue challenges. Acknowledge they need new funding soon, whatever model Victoria decides. Once again, let there be no doubt a $100-$150 vehicle levy was being discussed pre-election. #bcpoli #cdnpoli

Adrian Dix has been B.C.'s minister of energy and climate solutions since November 2024. His mandate letter told him to make BC Hydro responsive to investors who need large amounts of power. His ministry capped AI at 300 MW and data centres at 100 MW for two years, and B.C. says it's to "pace" their growth. Mines and LNG plants in the northwest need BC Hydro's north coast power line. Its cost has doubled to $6 billion, and the first phase won't be done until mid-2030. The same letter told him to work with Ottawa to cap oil and gas emissions. Ottawa dropped its cap in November 2025. B.C. still targets a 33 to 38% cut for oil and gas by 2030. Overall: failed. His final review is Oct. 24. #bcpoli #bcelection

Cringe!
Hmmm. No tax increases. No cuts. Does not compute. Have lived this movie with massive cuts to healthcare and education

Almost packed for the only place I don't have to think about the NDP, for now! Time to be reminded why I love BC so much.

B.C. now has the highest poverty rate of any province. Now Eby is promising up to 30 cents a litre off gas. Last election he promised a $1,000 grocery rebate and cancelled it four months after he won. #bcpoli
