I've been building companies in B.C. while politicians talk about it. Business, politics, and anything in between.

Eby wants another four years. Here's what his cabinet did with the time they had. One minister at a time until Oct. 24. What they promised, what happened, and where they failed. First up: Bowinn Ma 👇
Bowinn Ma, North Van-Lonsdale's MLA since 2017. The North Shore rapid transit she pushed for is still a study. Her government cancelled seven care homes in April. Her neighbours will pay about $590 more a year for 30 years for the sewage plant. #bcpoli #NorthVan

Making more than $1M to fund Healthcare while physicians are one of the largest groups making more than $1M a year. Sounds like a great plan. In business we just call that pay cut.
NEW - @Dave_Eby says he will create a new tax bracket on people who earn more than $1m annually, to tax the wealthiest British Columbians to help pay for health care costs.

The European mind can't comprehend: I just drove 10 hours straight, my timezone changed and I'm still in BC! Nothing like the Kootney's fall. Supporting local in Cranbrook.

Average NDP voter has never left the city and has no idea most of BC and Alberta are ranchers. Uneducated, and living in a bubble.

Urbanites didn't build BC or Canada.
Most of BC are urbanites, 60% of the population lives in metro Vancouver alone

David Eby seems to think being a billionaire is something to be condemned. Maybe he should take a look at what Jimmy Pattison has actually done for British Columbia. • EXPO 86: Pattison worked virtually full-time for five years without compensation to help make Expo 86 a reality and putting Vancouver on the world stage • Health care: He donated $75 million to St. Paul’s Hospital, described by the B.C. government as a historic contribution to Canadian health-care philanthropy. (BC News) • Royal Columbian Hospital: He donated $30 million toward the redevelopment, with the new acute-care tower now bearing his name. • Surrey health care: He donated $5 million toward the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre, helping fund equipment and attract physicians. -Vancouver General Hospital: donated $20 million to VGH -He made major contributions to Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, Burnaby, Kelowna General and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. A 2024 grant record shows nearly $20 million in foundation grants in one year, much of it going to B.C. health care. - Children’s health: the Pattison Group, has contributed tens of millions of dollars to B.C. Children’s Hospital, including $15 million for its family immunization clinic. • Jobs and investment: The Pattison Group grew from a single Vancouver car dealership into a major Canadian business empire employing thousands of people. So when David Eby looks at Jimmy Pattison and sees only “a billionaire,” British Columbians should remember what Pattison has actually contributed. He built businesses. He created jobs. He invested in our communities. He helped put Vancouver on the world stage. And he has donated millions to help British Columbians receive health care. We should be debating how to create more success stories like Jimmy Pattison not denigrating people simply because they achieved extraordinary success. B.C. needs more builders, more investment and more ambition, not politicians who turn success into something to be ashamed of and using him for cheap political talking points

Yes I’m sure the BCNDP would have spent the money much better with less bureaucracy or mismanagement….

Eby tomorrow: If you vote for me, I will stop Phobos! We stand for Mars.
Mars' largest moon Phobos is slowly spiraling inward and could break apart to form a ring or collide with Mars in about 50 million years.
Community note
The video appears to be a CGI simulation, not real spacecraft or telescope footage. NASA confirms Phobos is spiraling inward and may form a ring or collide with Mars in about 50 million years. science.nasa.gov/mars/moons/pho
