Cutting red tape costs taxpayers nothing. It’s a common sense solution to get Britain building.

A whole bunch of Israeli politicians, going back decades, including the current prime minister, had to change their European family names to sound more Hebrew and indigenous to the land, and now they turn around and mock people who apparently don’t have ‘British names’.

Separate to my disagreement with you on the motion and the definition of antisemitism, it does seem bizarre to me Iain that you would no longer platform the Greens based on today’s vote while continuing to platform Reform which is filled with racist members and leaders and people who have said openly bigoted things about Muslims and migrants and Jews and more. There’s simply no comparison to any sane or unbiased observer, just looking at the evidence of racism across all of the political parties (and don’t get me started on Labour and the Tories long history of fueling racism and electing racists).

In 1967 Britain had more electric vehicles on its roads than every other country on earth put together, and they were all delivering milk. There were tens of thousands of them. The milk float: open sided, battery under the floor, top speed of about 15 miles an hour, and a whine you could pick out in your sleep. It was charged overnight at the depot and was back there by lunchtime. It carried glass bottles. Each one was collected from your step the next morning, washed and refilled. A bottle went round like that 20 or 30 times before it broke. The foil cap went for scrap. There was no other packaging. The milk had come from farms within a few miles, through a local dairy, and was on the step before 7. So here is what the country had. A zero-emission delivery fleet. Reusable containers with a return rate any modern scheme would kill for. No plastic. A supply chain you could cycle the length of. A man who noticed if an old lady's bottles were piling up, and knocked. It was dismantled in about 15 years, because a supermarket could sell milk a few pence cheaper in a plastic jug as a way of getting you through the door. Every piece of that system is now the subject of a government target for 2040. It was running in 1967, silently, in the dark, and nobody thought it was worth a mention.

🚨 SUELLA BRAVERMAN, YOU CAN’T ESCAPE THE RECEIPTS! 😂 Now trending is a video of Suella campaigning for office under the Conservative Party banner, while presenting herself as a supporter of Net Zero and action on climate change. Careful, Suella! 😂 When she sees this video, I’m half expecting her to tell us Rishi Sunak held a gun to her head and forced her to make the campaign video. You genuinely couldn’t write this stuff. 😂😂

Dennis Hastert just died. He was the former Republican Speaker of the House. The media is reporting that he went to prison for violating banking laws, but the banking laws he violated were about manipulating records so he could pay off teenage boys he had sexually abused. He was a pedophile, and we shouldn't be dancing around that.

Accounting has accidentally made it financially impossible to replace an $89 laptop battery. An employee’s four-year-old laptop now lasts 18 minutes unplugged. Battery replacement: $89. Easy. Except Finance policy says IT cannot approve a repair costing more than 25% of the asset’s current book value. The laptop is fully depreciated. Current book value: $0. 25% of $0: $0. So according to policy, an $89 battery is an unacceptable investment in a worthless asset. I asked Procurement what I’m supposed to do. “Replace the device.” New laptop: $1,684. Approved immediately. The CFO saw the invoice and asked why we spent $1,684 instead of replacing an $89 battery. I sent him the policy. He replied: “That’s not what the policy means.” I asked what number I should use instead of the book value listed by Finance. No response. The new laptop arrives Thursday. The old laptop works perfectly except for the battery. We’ll send it to e-waste. Accounting has successfully protected us from wasting $89.

He’s right, the world isn’t stopping them. The UK is busy condemning the Green Party and the US is busy condemning a Twitch streamer. Meanwhile, Israel does ethnic cleansing and war crimes out in the open; *brags* about it in fact:
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich: The thorough cleansing that we are carrying out now in southern Lebanon is unprecedented. They have nowhere to return to. Look at how it looks. And by the way, the world isn’t stopping us.
