"Biden did it too" Yes. Pointing out that the guy you love is just like the guy you hate isn't the great profound dunk that y'all believe that it is.

Not that long ago, both Trump and @RepThomasMassie fought for America First. Not anymore. If Trump had stayed more like Massie, he might be winning right now. @amconmag theamericanconservative.com/…

I hate the narrative that opposing someone else’s socialism makes you anti-socialist. If you oppose their redistribution, subsidies, price controls and central planning, then demand your own redistribution, subsidies, price controls and central planning, you’re not anti-socialist. You’re just arguing over who gets to run it and that you can do it right this time.

So this is what it's come down to. Vote for Republicans or we'll let Democrats invade the Country again. Yes, that's exactly they're saying whether they realize it or not. A hostage negotiation every 2 years. Spare me the secure boarder talk, good job closing the door at night.

Exactly...Not only did I not get "everything I wanted," I didn't get ONE DAMN THING I WANTED. Complete 180° on EVERYTHING! There is NOTHING conservative about Trump or the Republican Party. I will NOT be voting. ZERO PERCENT CHANCE.
I love when Trump supporters say you have to vote Republican even though you didn’t get “everything you wanted.” It sounds a lot better than saying “you have to vote Republican even though they lied you into an unwinnable war of aggression, on behalf of a foreign nation, after promising not to.”

Man, I really do like these guys, but the funny thing about right-wing fusionism is that every attempt at a paleo-alliance between libertarians and conservatives has come with complete disrespect from the conservatives and a complete unwillingness, even from those who should be natural allies on the right, to acknowledge that libertarians were correct about the most important issues of this century: the post-9/11 wars, inflation and debt, COVID, the surveillance state, Russiagate, Epstein, and the rest. When it’s convenient, these guys ignore everything we actually offer, and they pretend right-wing libertarians don’t exist and that all libertarians just care about weed, porn, and prostitution. The reason we entered the alliance in the first place was economics, and in exchange, we libertarians deemphasized the social issues because many of us accepted that the paleocons were right about social decay and the importance of moral virtue. But I think we’ve given them far too much credit with nothing in return. Tucker Carlson is far better at this: He brings on Dave Smith and Scott Horton as foreign-policy specialists, calls Thomas Massie the most conventionally conservative politician of our lifetimes, and clearly admires Ron Paul. He sometimes criticizes “libertarian economics” unfairly, but he highlights what the best of us have had to offer instead of ignoring us. And I think it’s only made him better. In 2026, and after the GOP made a martyr out of Massie, a complete reevaluation of the relationship is necessary, especially since America First, inflation, and Epstein/corruption are clearly the most important issues that will cost the GOP the midterms. It is long past due that we demand real concessions before we vote with them again, and I think the emphasis HAS to be on inflation and war this time. I really don’t care about the “you’ll get the Dems elected!” arguments anymore. If the GOP doesn’t learn from their mistakes and make these changes now, we’re going to get the Bolsheviks in the long run anyways.
I saw someone claim that libertarians only care about weed and pornography. That’s completely unfair and counter-productive. Libertarians clearly care about more than just weed and porn. They’re also obsessed with preserving prostitution and human-trafficking. And they seem allergic to having any actual impact on elections or legislation.

Republicans argument against libertarianism falls apart fast: “We reject your ideology, so everyone must obey ours.” That is not a defense of rights. It is a power grab with a moral label slapped on it. Rights mean peaceful people can live by their own beliefs without being forced to follow yours. Your freedom means nothing if it only applies to people who agree with you. Make your case. Convince people. Live by your principles. But the moment you demand the government force peaceful people to obey, stop calling it freedom. You’re asking for control. Anyone willing to compromise our freedom is our enemy, no matter how noble they make it sound.

I’m seeing this quote pushed out by many…. “You punish bad Republicans in the primaries. You vote to save the country from leftists in the general….” and I’m wondering how that’s possible when corporate and foreign interests spend 30 million dollars in a primary? Or when a gubernatorial candidate has a 100 million war chest? Seriously though, how the fck is a grassroots candidate expected to beat the establishment during a primary? I’m all ears on suggestions in the comments…

Another chance to… start another war? add another $4 trillion to the debt? spy on Americans w/o a warrant? fund a genocide? keep the Epstein files hidden? send more weapons to Ukraine? Usually when someone asks for another chance, they tell you what they’d do differently.
