Poorly kids are a nightmare especially with parents who are health care professionals! But we have felt heard! A massive heartfelt thank you to @LarwoodHealth, @DHU, Dr Fazal & and extra special one to @robfub who made her feel so at ease the first time!

Psychological safety starts with our leaders, and results in improved performance and better relationships. It also helps Speaking Up @UHP_NHS @DerrifordNurses @WEDoOD_UHP @DAllcorn
Research by @CCLdotORG found teams with high degrees of psychological safety reported higher levels of performance & lower levels of interpersonal conflict. They also found that senior leadership teams reported the greatest differences in their perceived levels of psychological safety: it means that senior teams are the place where creative problem solving is most likely to be squashed & teams fail to collaborate & innovate together to their full potential. They suggest 8 steps for leaders to help create a more psychologically safe workplace: 1. Make psychological safety an explicit priority 2. Facilitate everyone speaking up 3. Establish norms for how failure is handled 4. Create space for new ideas (even wild ones) 5. Embrace productive conflict 6. Pay close attention and look for patterns 7. Make an intentional effort to promote dialogue 8. Celebrate wins ccl.org/articles/leading-eff…

Just an observation - brits abroad wearing crocs, let me tell you I’m one of the OG’s that’s been rocking crocs for 20 + years long when they were uncool. Shout out to all the OG croc rockers!

Second this. Goosebumps the minute I hear careless whisper… the sound of Wham! songs take me back to my childhood.

There hasn’t been many moments in my life where I’ve been completely overwhelmed and lost for words. But this was one of them. I don’t believe I’m extraordinary, I am just me. Proud to have been awarded the #cavellstarawards #bassetlawhospice #nottshealthcare

This young man helped me care for his palliative mum during covid at 17/18, she died 2 months before he started university and today my little brother graduated with a 2:1 in accountancy. Although I couldn’t be there, I couldn’t be prouder of all he’s achieved. You are amazing.
