Got to believe there's some purpose to it all, but a twist of fate in the cancer treatment is the immunotherapy shows to be particularly effective due to some genetic markers in my specific cancer, however it's looking like the immunotherapy is causing my immune system to attack my body and suppressing it effectively cancels out the treatment. I'm trying anti-inflammatories and pain meds instead but man it hurts at night, from about 1-6am is the worst. Uncomfortable the rest of the time but now for example, 2am it's got me walking around trying to stem the pain. I accept that some things simply must be endured but I'm also under strict instruction to probably wind up back in hospital and I was just released. I like being released.

In another terrific example of Labor policy gutting small businesses in their own districts, visited a nice little cafe for lunch but you can't park within 2kms without 1 hour signage, all the angle parking and street parking near the district is 1hr parking. That leaves 40mins to order food with 10min each way from car to cafe, get your food, quickly eat your food and rush out the door before the $105 parking fine I just received because nobody wants to rush at a cafe on a sunny lunch service. You want to spend maybe 1-1.5hrs in the shop for a comfortable lunch with friends and a casual 15mins each way walking to or from the car, a 1hr parking limit just isn't reasonable and it's not metered, it's a hard limit. So that just means I'm never going back to that cafe for lunch again. What a shame. And I was wondering while I was in there why, in the middle of a beautiful sunny weekday lunch service period there was nobody in there. That business requires at least a good 200 head in a lunch service and they got maybe 2-dozen. It's a groovy looking place, rustic and indie overtones like they should be booking live music on Friday nights, but they just don't have the patronage and now I realize why. That's just insane. The Council already screws them with property rates and business taxes, then it screws them again by chasing off any patrons who actually want to come and enjoy a proper meal without getting rushed to avoid $105 fines for parking. Fuck Whitehorse City Council. Bloody un-Australian scumbags. They just killed a local business.

I have a brain scan this Saturday. It's an aggressive cancer I'm told, there aren't current signs of metastasis but they want to keep checking with up to date scans. I guess the brain is the first place it spreads? Or perhaps they just think I'm a bit off in the brain department and maybe have a brain tumour while we're here 😂

I thought the treatment was going well, but this past week and a bit is really wearing me out on the pain in the chest and back part. I'm already on so many pain killers I can't basically leave the house until they wear off. I hate to imagine how bad it would be without them.
