😬 Pro-Life establishment media outlet
@LifeNewsHQ posted a highly misleading abortion numbers graphic, claiming that there were merely three abortions in Kentucky last year under Pro-Life regulatory laws.
This claim arises from Kentucky state government data, which only tracks surgical abortions and not abortion pills obtained through telehealth, out-of-state travel for abortions, or self-managed abortions outside of the formal medical system.
These realities were acknowledged by
@LifeNewsHQ in the second paragraph of the article, which was originally released by the Charlotte Lozier Institute without the misleading graphic and headline.
Instead of three Kentucky preborn babies murdered, there were at least 7,100 preborn babies from Kentucky murdered in 2025, which includes nearly 3,800 out-of-state abortions and over 3,300 telehealth abortions. This marks a substantial increase from 4,600 preborn babies from Kentucky murdered in 2019, in spite of numerous Pro-Life legislative proposals becoming law, including a trigger bill which supposedly banned abortion after the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
@LifeNewsHQ sorrowfully has a lengthy history of misleading or even blatantly false reports about abortion numbers under Pro-Life regulatory laws. This reporting often buries or entirely omits the reality that while surgical abortions may have largely ceased in conservative states, self-induced abortions are rising because of loopholes in Pro-Life laws granting women complete legal immunity to murder their preborn babies.
While
@LifeNewsHQ often insists that conservative states like Kentucky have banned abortion, they also fail to acknowledge that abortion remains legal for women in such states, and that Pro-Life laws deprive preborn babies of equal protection.
