Yesterday the public revelation of Rob Griffin (pic 1) PROMOTED to Deputy Chief Constable Notts Police despite the criticisms and proven failures exposed during the Nottingham Inquiry. Kate Meynell (pic 2) EARLY RETIRED as Chief Constable just before the Inquiry. Late delivery of key witness statements and facts, under questioning accepted her failures in key decisions during the investigation and afterwards. Despite inability to provide evidence had secretly secured a significant senior role with EMSOU (ultimately not taking it up once publicly exposed). Leigh Sanders (pic 3), failed SIO at helm of a terrible investigation. Also EARLY RETIRED. Significant criticism over integrity of the investigation. Compromised by disclosure failures, unexamined exculpatory evidence and a critical failure to interview key witnesses. And total lack of toxicology testing. Ifti Majid (pic 3) former CEO (RETIRED on full NHS pension) Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. At the helm of a trust who failed repeatedly to manage, detain and treat Calocane. Trust that is now under investigation for corporate manslaughter. These are just four examples of total and utter lack of accountability at senior level for senior and seriously flawed key decisions and leadership. -Not forgetting last week’s announcement of Amanda Sullivan CEO of the Nottinghamshire ICB receiving a 40% pay rise. This is of course my perspective, my point of view and my opinion. Others may not agree but I maintain my integrity and honesty in every point made above and my public call for this to be addressed. This rot has to stop.

Same hospital who are still in the thick of forced investigations by our families over illegal data breaches related to Barney, Grace and Ian. 11 sackings so far. Not one of them a doctor or manager!!!! ⬇️ And STILL no accountability for any member of staff, board member, executive or ICB. Following on from yesterday regarding the ICB in Nottingham and CEO Amanda Sullivan’s salary. -Two trusts within the Nottingham ICB remit. -Two major scandals within the past 10 years (maternity and mental health). -Both the Inquiry and Review brought about because of grieving families relentless campaigning. Our inquiry I have in depth knowledge of (sadly). I knew little of the mechanics of the Ockenden Review. So I’ve been looking at it today… This non statutory review engaged with more than 830 NHS staff. Yet only 4 of 14 senior CCG/ICB leaders approached agreed to be interviewed. 29% Less than a third were prepared to speak. They were not compelled to, so they didn’t! How can that be acceptable on any level? After a decade of maternity failures, mental health failings, innocent lives lost, regulatory warnings and repeated opportunities to intervene, accountability cannot just stop at the hospital door. What’s the point of any of it if there’s not engagement, honesty, transparency and candour?? It has to reach those whose job it was to hold the system to account. Anyone been held to account within the commissioning system that I can find? Wait, what? £312,500 (a 40% pay rise) I have read this with absolute horror. ⬇️ I sat in the Inquiry (of my son’s entirely preventable death largely due to NHS and Police failures) and watched this woman give WEAK and EVASIVE evidence, with NO ACCOUNTABILITY once again for the senior leadership failures (including hers) to manage their systems. And now she gets a reward of a 40% pay rise!!!! Whilst ICB staff who have managed to hold on to their jobs in the restructuring get 4.4% (more than half being made redundant - ironically I know first hand being an NHS staff member myself). This is richly deserved. 👏 Your bravery, honesty and integrity in reporting, and refusal to be intimidated, have made an enormous difference in our fight. Let’s not forget Chief Constable Meynell held her entirely unwarranted ‘closed media briefing’ in her failed attempt to dumb down the scale of failure she and her force were facing. @nottm_post @nat_fahy were the ONLY media outlet to defy this; placing public transparency ahead of institutional secrecy. Opening themselves up to many months of painful and costly litigation in defending themselves following the continued pernicious complaints made to @IpsoNews by the @nottspolice (…a waste of tens of thousands of tax payer monies that should have been diverted to the actual policing of the city). ALL of which were dismissed en masse. ✅ Something recently (early) retired Meynell was forced to admit as a grave error of judgment in her evidence at the Nottingham Inquiry ✅ The great city of Nottingham has one agency at least they should be rightly proud of. ⬇️ @nottspolice @MyNottingham @nottmhospitals @CPSUK @NottsHealthcare Take note

Absolutely Sandy. If the conduct of the CPS and their legal counsel towards the three families and survivors could be summed up in one personality. It would be hers. Thoughtless, bullish, ignorant and arrogant. They chose well!!!!

Which is an absolutely disgraceful statement by an absolute shambles of a police force (and legal team advising them). I find this headline very unpalatable. Pray people read below the headline….

They have Joe. But still they double down. And quite frankly the CPS aren’t far behind them. That’s why we HAVE to keep fighting and keep calling them out. If we don’t , same as Calocane, they’ll get away with it too.
