Let’s have some facts Elias Calocane shall we? Transcript below of your complaints about the reporting of your brother’s crime and reputational damage you feared. AND What was disclosed today (pictured - your brother’s explosive handiwork and planning). • (He)complained that “more was not done by the police to respond to the perception that the attacks were a terrorist attack.” • “I was concerned that the implication that the attacks may have been related to terrorism would have likely increased the media interest in our family and thus increased the risk to us, as well as fuelling prejudice around west African immigrants.” • (He) also complained that the press had the Guinea-Bissau / Madeira / UK route and believed that was leaked: “particular concern to us, as within days of speaking to the police there were members of the press knocking on our doors.” FYI: They were also knocking on our doors. None of us insisted on installation of additional security measures or felt the need to deny our heritage.

Complaints? Seriously? His mother is a nurse. She knew the risk that monster was! Elias Calocane has no right whatsoever to pull the race card. Its what left his stabby, hate filled brother free to murder on our streets.

OMG @EmmaWebber This is a smoking gun, grounds for a criminal trial? No wonder the Police and CPS pushed everything through with gusto, they did not want this coming out did they? I’m sure you’re on a war path now Keep going until you get justice!

You would think he would show some remorse, but no, it’s all about them entitled beings! Not about the bodies of the young people he slaughtered and the father and grandfather he cut down. Just about their family’s needs, their families dangers, yet the atrocities his brother committed are at the bottom. This entitled selfish man mother and coward of a father . Sometimes all you need is a sorry

Considering the events of Southport and further findings of systemic multi agency failures that led to the death of 3 innocent children, you would be forgiven for expecting some lessons to have been learned DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Vicim and Offender) alongside projection and deflection are common responses when faced with evidential failures. You might expect it for petty crimes, but of this magnitude its clear that the unwillingness to tackle the real issues was not just by family members but by the agencies who should be above such conduct. The institutional failures within Policing have led to too many preventable deaths and too many perpetrators being protected. This evidence is not of someone who is not thinking clearly, this is of someone whose calculations are so well researched as to be a serious threat on a scale that clearly crosses the threshold of terrorism. Yet instead of addressing it, it's not even acknowledged, and worse, hidden until forced to be exposed We can't guess at the Family motivation but clearly cultural history must be considered. As for the Police there are no excuses. Preventable deaths in the light of such failures is a threshold that needs to be addressed. This is where culpability has to be fully faced. If this was an isolated incident its much easier to dismiss, however Nottingham is no first timer to such widespread failures. The IISCA report published 2019 found similar findings of institutional failings and a culture of cover ups Failures in Law Enforcement Response. Nottinghamshire Police: The police force faced harsh criticism for failing to treat children's allegations with urgency or sufficient seriousness. Social services similarly failed to spot overarching patterns, viewing horrific incidents as isolated events rather than a systemic issue. The evidence found in this report further evidences the culpability of public services in failures to address matters.... gardencourtchambers.co.uk/in…

This man has some nerve- he had been told by VC that he had done something very bad but didn’t call the police - allowing VC to kill again. Any normal person would have been consumed with guilt not trying to play the race card.

Same playbook- deny, attack, reverse victim & offender - DARVO - plus falsely claim special protections/ privileges from being “victimised ethnic minority” - i.e. the Race card- DARVOPR. Whilst the actual victims and family are denied everything including equal treatment, fairness, transparency and justice.

For shame sake that family should be thinking of what that killer did to Ian, Barnaby and Grace. Not to mention all of those he injured. He has ruined so many lives and they are moaning dear lord. You would think they would at least apologise and take a very low profile.

It feels like way too often, when the police & other authorities are silent, it's because they're actively protecting,or at least giving a free pass to, the perpetrators by their silence. It's so heartbreaking who then suffers the consequences.

Pulling the race card just horrible and despicable when all of the families are going through hell. He should have the decency to remember that your family members are not here any more he robbed them and you of their future.

The whole family should be deported to Portugal. They've no reason to be here any longer, their continued presence is not conducive to the public good. Britain has left the EU so the original Portugese citizenship/freedom of movement reason for being here is arguably redundant.
