It's here! Friends, bitmap.land on-chain is live (ish). With full District and Parcel functionality! Technically it's still in the mempool, and it's going to take a long time to fully inscribe at 0.1s/vb, but that's okay, in the meantime I just set the domain to redirect to the ordpool.space preview source! 😉 I wanted to make a point to spend as little as possible (in this case, $2.87) as a one-time fee on a website that was costing hundreds per month to host, and with this workaround, you can spend as little as you want AND still point to it with your domain name before it's even mined. Cheap and instant. I'll update the redirect to ordinals.com when the block clears, but that's just semantics. Right now you can enjoy bitmap.land! For the on-chain version I removed all communication features for now.

This video shows one of our editor tools: the decoder we use to hide words inside the map 🟧 We’ve been asked how secure the system protecting the prize seed really is. The answer: the decoder is not based on hiding one perfect word in the code. It is designed so that even if someone extracts the full world and manages to decode hidden words, they still don’t get the seed. They get valid BIP39 noise, with no context and no position. That’s the key. You don’t find “the seed”. You find possibilities. After checking the math over and over, the result is always the same: 7.28 × 10²² possible combinations. Even after filtering for valid BIP39 seeds, that’s around 14.4 billion years of brute force at 10,000 checks per second. Looking at code does not solve the Treasure Hunt.
