The #Dolphins traded up to No. 3 in the 2013 NFL Draft, and **everyone** thought they were taking Lane Johnson. Miami selected Dion Jordan instead. Johnson fell to the #Eagles at No. 4. A crazy draft moment—and today, Johnson retires after a decorated 14-year career, all in Philly.

Chip Kelly wanted to trade up and get Dion Jordan. Thank God he didn’t have full control yet. Zach Ertz was next.

Just went back and looked at that first round. A lot of those guys are out of the league by now. RIP DJ Hayden man. It's crazy it's been that long already.😭

For what it’s worth… the Chiefs had the number one overall pick, drafted the wrong tackle, passed on Lane.. and have 3 championships since.

Chip Kelly continues to be one of the most important coaches in our history. His succeses and FUCK UPS laid the groundwork for what the eagles are today

Dion Jordan compared to Jason Taylor and DeMarcus Ware... Sadly, not even close.

Can't compare teams .. Some players are 🗑 on 1 team not even mentioned while stars on other teams .. He could have went to Dolphins not have had the success he had in Philly.. it worked out the way it was supposed to 2 Chips later 💪 Eagles Legend ..

Best thing that ever happened to Philly was Miami getting cute at No. 3. Johnson walks away with two Super Bowl rings, LII and LIX, all in one jersey. Dolphins fans are going to feel this one today.

Literally only a handful full of moves Chip Kelly actually got right was drafting Lane Johnson

Most overrated, false start merchant, not good enough to be a left tackle in history.

Yep. And Raiders traded down from 3 that draft. Never found a RT since Lincoln Kennedy retired in 2003.

And worse then played Dion out of position. Philbin set this franchise back years putting square oegs in round holes. Nothing he did schematically on both sides of the ball fit anyone on the roster. Team just needed a QB.

Almost as bad as when we traded down from the 19th pick in the 98 draft cuz Jimmie Johnson didn’t think Moss would fall that far. Moss went 21st
