No, just kidding. The two years I spent on this Minesweeper were the toughest two years of my 20!
Max speed 14 kts so couldn’t outrun weather. Had to strap in to sleep to keep from falling out of your rack in rough seas.
Crew of only 84. Like most ships, 20% of the people do 80% of the work.
6 hrs on 6 hrs off underway, then 3 section duty in port.
Lucky to get more than 4 hours sleep a day at sea and less on duty days in port
Would I do it again?

Why hasn't Congress given the President @realDonaldTrump authorization to set domestic gas prices at Pre-Iran-Attack levels?
What good is "Drill Baby Drill" if we're still at risk if anything disrupts oil supplies anywhere?
It's has been done 4 times before!
Why hasn't Congress passed Oil/Gasoline Price Controls?
All of the inflation & financial pain we are experiencing is 100% unnecessary!
If nothing else, the @ProblemSolveCaucus should propose a bi-partisan oil price controls pegged to the day before the attack on Iran and make the extreme members of both of their parties vote for higher prices!
Being a net exported of oil is meaningless as long as U.S. prices are linked to the international market.
@realDonaldTrump does not have the legal authority to disconnect the U.S. oil market from international exchanges... It can only be done by an act of Congress authorizing the President to do so...
It has been done four times before... this is nothing new...
