Yes, to be exact, @limitbreak is the root cause of the vulnerability. But that does not absolve @MagicEden of responsibility.
You chose to integrate that contract and your users granted approvals through your marketplace. If you were going to abandon EVM, the bare minimum was to properly deprecate the integration, warn affected users and push them to revoke those approvals.
You can’t introduce the dependency, walk away from it, and then act like the resulting exposure is entirely someone else’s problem.
Own up to your shit @MagicEden, you just caused one of the biggest NFT vulnerabilities in its history, thankfully @0xQuit was there to save a big part of it. But not only did you abandon NFT's but put the entire space at risk, def getting a lawsuit for this shit

This Ape has and will ALWAYS be to me the prize of my entire collection and maybe the most loved thing I own bar none. It was my first big purchase years back and means S0 much to me. 🍊 has always been my fav color and the prison jump suit was a reminder of when I was locked up by the Feds years ago. Today I’m giving it as a gift to @0xquit for basically saving the space for all of us last night. I was lucky to not get drained but many of my friends did. His selflessness and generosity is what I inspire to be. When I get home from work will transfer my orange 🧡 to him. It’s definetly going to the absolute best of humans …. I know my ape will now be in the home where he belongs 🙏

The issue wth @MagicEden is that they were never really believers in NFTs. They don't care. ME wanted to make money off NFTs. That's fine. But while NFT volume went down, they went off chasing the latest gambling opportunity, and they have completely abandoned the community that built them. The UX on Magic Eden sucks. NFTs on Solana will survive, Magic Eden should not.
I say this as a former public supporter of Magic Eden. I bought some of my first Solana NFTs on Magic Eden, and the people I know who work or used to work at Magic Eden are good people. But the product sucks now.
Burn it down
⚠️ALERT: 3,832 NFTs worth over $1.5 MILLION rescued after old Magic Eden Ethereum approvals left them exposed to being taken for 0 $ETH.
The move was reportedly done as a whitehat rescue, with the assets expected to be returned once they are no longer at risk.
Magic Eden has not confirmed an exploit yet.
If you ever used Magic Eden on Ethereum, revoke old NFT approvals immediately.

For over a year, you kept us on a financial treadmill we plugged in our wallets, paid platform fees, generated trade volume across 22+ blockchains and ground out points across multiple "Waves" of your incentive programs
We did our part to keep OpenSea relevant while you built your revamped OS2 platform
We provided the liquidity, and you collected the transaction fees
In challenging market conditions you have shelved the launch timeline entirely with zero commitment to a new date worse yet, you have unilaterally ended the Treasure rewards campaign, locking away our accumulated sweat equity behind a vague promise that our efforts will be meaningfully considered down the line
Offering optional fee refunds for Waves 3 to 6 on the condition that we completely forfeit our earned Treasure rewards is a false choice
It pits our immediate capital against the time and energy we invested based on your public roadmaps
Slashing swap fees to 0% for 60 days does not fix this
It is just another attempt to keep us hooked on the platform without offering real accountability
Web3 was built on the principle that the users who create value should share in it Right now OpenSea is treating its community like a bank for attention and liquidity
