In 2016, George Soros pledged $500 million specifically to migrant and refugee investment programmes. These are not neutral charities helping people in genuine need. These are political advocacy organisations that lobby governments to keep borders open, campaign against deportations, fight every attempt to control who enters our country, and tie the hands of every government that tries to enforce immigration law. In Italy, prosecutors investigated NGOs funded by Soros foundations for operating ships that picked up migrants close to the Libyan coast and transported them to Europe.
