President Trump has made it clear to Indiana leaders: if the Indiana Senate fails to pass the map, all federal funding will be stripped from the state. Roads will not be paved. Guard bases will close. Major projects will stop. These are the stakes and every NO vote will be to blame. #PassTheMap

NEW ODD LOTS: Why Argentina needs bailout after bailout after bailout. @tracyalloway and I talk to @GMakoff, who literally wrote the book about Argentina's debt restructuring, about why the country is once again a recipient of foreign assistance. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

We have ~100bps of cuts priced in over the next 12 months and the 10yr note remains in the exact same place The lack of transmission from front-end to back-end might be a sign this type of overt lobbying isnt very helpful. And may even be counterproductive
High rates are crushing homebuilding and driving up housing costs. A rate cut would spark new construction, ease pressure on families, and make housing more affordable for years to come.

Car headlights are too damn bright, and I'm doing something about it. Brightness has doubled in the last decade, but manufacturing standards haven't budged in 40 yrs. Drivers AND oncoming traffic deserve visibility – it matters for seniors & rural roads. youtube.com/watch?v=9YoV-Qqp…

Much of the Trump administration’s energy agenda is already on life support. The mining “boom” is already struggling. Oil companies can’t “drill, baby, drill” in this market. Plastic feedstock producers are hurting. Now the nuclear revival is in trouble. Has anyone noticed?

NEW: Another documents filed by the ACLU is an unclassified ICE document showing what it alleges are Tren de Aragua tattoos. The @nypost also published these in 2024. But reverse image search shows these images were stolen from the internet and have nothing to do with TdA! 🧵
NEW: @ACLU obtained ICE's "Alien Enemies Act Validation Guide," confirming all it takes to be sent to rot in prison in El Salvador is 1) having a tattoo an ICE officer says is a "gang tattoo" and 2) displaying "logos," "symbols," or clothes an ICE officer says are gang signs.

The Yankees' collapse in last night’s 5th game of the World Series was a long time coming. The Yankees have been mismanaged or poorly managed since their last World Series in 2009. Loaded with money, they make the wrong choices in buying athletes from other teams. They’ve weakened seriously their farm system and the owner, Steinbrenner, is not that ambitious for a winning team because he’s still making a lot of profit. Yankee General Manager Brian Cashman and Yankee team manager Aaron Boone are relentless losers. Yankee fans should demand their replacement. The only thing going up at Yankee stadium are the prices, not the World Series wins. -R
