Trump’s original sin was throwing the JCPOA in the trash. You can draw a straight line between the clusterf*ck happening today and May 8, 2018, when that stupid decision was made.
With hindsight the JCPOA was perhaps the best piece of US foreign policy in my entire life. Non-violently resolved a key conflict. Made the world safer. Cost the US basically nothing.
