This is not basic pay. It includes compulsory overtime pay - nights, weekends & bank holidays, not to mention a 48hr working week. This, in other words, is an official civil service account - supposedly impartial & accurate - parroting blatantly misleading government spin.

This is sad. Multi million pound companies like @ITV, and global singers like @ollymurs, @iamwill, @RealSirTomJones and @AnneMarie and no one can pay a few quid and support a local business. When banks take exposure as mortgage payments then maybe more people will do this. #payup

20 years ago I went on a school trip to see a show at somewhere called the National Theatre. I’d never heard of it and didn’t know I wanted to be an actor or anything, but I remember stepping into the auditorium and thinking - woah, this place is cool, I like it here.
