Ichafu is a beautiful symbol of Igbo heritage that connects wearers to generations of tradition. It enhances a woman's elegance and confidence while bringing out her inner beauty. Wearing and preserving ichafu keeps Igbo culture alive for future generations.

The minority of the minority always makes a thunderous noise on X. Show me any state in the South-South that can compete with Abia State in industrialization? The majority of Akwa Ibom solely reside in Aba because their state is not productive for them.
Igbos (the South-East) lack development compared to other regions because they don't have leaders who put the masses first; The marginalization wouldn't be this bad if the leaders act right. In the National Assembly, Igbos are represented across all SE states, yet the elected ones play politics instead of doing their jobs. Same goes for the governors as well, and state level leaders. Many Igbos also claim to be the developers of other regions, often trying to attribute the success of those states to themselves. Now the question is, why not put the same effort in your states and invest in the said estates, trade, and commerce? You can't claim to be developing other regions when an argument arises whereas you own states lacks the basic infrastructures you argue about. And this is for the elites residing in other regions. Odumeje is partially right, the Nigerian government has marginalized the South-East to a certain degree, but the "damage to the Igbo people" is mostly caused by the Igbo leaders themselves, and the elites in general. The FG is made up of state leaders which the South-East are a major part of, and the region also have prominent public figures across all sectors. Hold them accountable.

Despite the high concentration of oil in Delta state , ebonyi state outpaced the state in development . However, it is important to Note that no state in South South that can compete with south east in terms of development ,yet Daniel ignored that and spew rubbish

Ichafu has no duplicate. Everything else that looks like ichafu is counterfeit. Anyone copying our headgear style should stop because this headgear originated from the Igbo tribe.

DID YOU KNOW? The movie Daybreak in Udi, shot in Enugu State, Nigeria, in 1949, is the first Nigerian film and the first film shot in Africa to feature an African language (Igbo). It was also the first African film to win an Oscar Award in 1950. Since that Igbo movie won an Oscar in 1950, only three African movies have won Academy Awards. None has come from Nigeria. The actors were: - Harford Anerobi as Dominic - Fanny Elumeze as Iruka - Joseph Amalu as Eze - Joyce Mgbaronye as the Midwife - Clement Emehel as James - Oso Anichebe as a Village Elder These were the first Nigerians to act in a movie. Apart from these main named characters, dozens of unnamed local villagers from Igbo land actively participated in the crowd scenes and the physical construction of the maternity home, effectively serving as the heart and soul of the film. We were the first people to start acting when other parts of Nigeria did not yet know what acting was. We are also pioneers of Nollywood. Ndị Igbo bụ ọkụ Naịjirịa!

How many containers do you import in China? I'm asking because I don't know what gives the impression of boycotting Igbo business. What do you produce in the country? Someone who doesn't own anything can't boycott people's business.

No one has the right to stop us from using ichafu that our great-grandmothers invented and preserved for our generation. If you like, continue convulsing or crying in my comments section—that won't stop me from posting and showcasing my tribe's cultural headgear.

They came for egusi, we defeated them. They came for Ichaafu, we defeated them. They came for akupe (hand fan), we defeated them. Now the Yorubas are trying to claim tying two wrappers. It's going to be another easy win...

I don't want to hear the minority of the minority making thunderous noise on X. We have three major ethnic groups: Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa, and others are just minorities.
You are posted Ijaw women as Igbo ? 2 of those Pictures are Ijaw women.

Ichafu doesn't only beautify our women but also gives them a tantalized look. Ichafu or nothing. Premium headwrap that was invented and preserved for us by our great-grandmothers.

When Igbo women rock ichafu, it always brings out their inner beauty. Ichafu originated from the Igbo tribe, and we will continue to use it and preserve it for future generations.

Why should I send you a childhood picture? We are Igbo and respect our cultural costumes. You don't expect a child to tie ichafu. This headgear is for women, not children. I've seen many of you saying these things, and it's hilarious. Kindly find another thing and say .

We don't need a soothsayer to predict that we own ichafu. It is our stunning headgear belonging to the Igbo tribe, used by our people for ages. You can't expect us to call it gele when our great-grandmothers used and named it ichafu.

This video made me cry. This very old woman couldn't contain her joy when someone decided to build her a new house after living in a mud house inside the bush for years. You might say her blessings came late, but better late than never.
