New in Alzheimer's & Dementia: using neuromelanin MRI in people with Alzheimer's, locus coeruleus (noradrenaline) integrity tracked AD pathology, symptoms & rate of decline — a possible treatment target. doi.org/10.1002/alz.70749

I completely agree @smead2.
Training should be more streamlined and competency based, both in theory and practice.
The length of training coupled with increasing uncertainty about academic jobs at the end runs the risk of us losing the next generation of clinician scientists.
