Prof. John Mearsheimer: India🇮🇳 and China🇨🇳 DO NOT want war, but India is very concerned about the Chinese military build-up in the Himalayas
'The Indian elites do not need the West to tell them how to think about what their interests are. The Indian elites are fully capable of figuring out what's in their national interest.
And the fact is that most Indians feel that the boundaries should be drawn in a place that reflects what India thinks are the proper boundaries, and the same thing is true on the Chinese side.
The Indians and the Chinese want to avoid a war, for sure, and let's hope that they do. But it's important to understand that, from India's point of view, as they watch the Chinese building up their military forces up in the Himalayas, they have good cause to be concerned.'
Prof. John Mearsheimer, one of the world's most respected realist International Relations scholars on the latest episode of New Order.
