its really easy as long as you don't have a health condition or Kids
I have lived and worked in 3 continents and had I not left Philippines for Portugal in 2021 I probably would be dead now. FTR it wasnt Covid related.
My reasoning at the time for leaving Philippines was 3 fold, One to save my EU/BREXIT Status by coming to the EU by 31 December 2020 followed by Healthcare and Education for my Son.
If your a Digital Nomad and don't have kids none of these things should concern you but if your not then they become ultra important especially when your plannning residency for lifestyle and tax planning reasons.
I chose Portugal for the NHR (Non Habitual Tax Regime) and also the fact after living in Spain for 12 years I always promised myself I would try and live in the Lisboa area one day.
So Healthcare becomes a major consideration of where you should be based if you have some form of Medical condition especially something that might requrire major surgery at anytime. This was me back in 2022.
Now if you were resident in say Paraguay or Philippines as examples do they really have the medical expertise to save your life?
Even in Portugal Healthcare in Lisboa and Porto regions is vastly superior to the rest of the country. Whatever you do don't get sick at the weekend in the Algarve.
Kids however are much more obvious as most people stay healthy and most people have kids
The golden rule is unless your doing home schooling travelling the world with the costs and drawbacks that brings where you send your kids to school will be where you pay your taxes and become resident. That you cannot escape.
Lots of people are residents in Gibraltar but send their kids to Sotogrande School in Spain thinking that doesn't make them tax residents in Spain. Ill leave that conversation for my very good friends who are cross border tax advisors.
Clearly there are solutions for everyone but not everyone thinks of the practicalities of having citizenship or Residency in say Paraguay, Caribbean and the EU and what it means for them later on in life.
I have good friends who are Digital or Crypto Nomads and they plan to have kids in the future and now are thinking about where to settle down and bring up a family, something we should all be thinking of.
Needs some life advice always happy to help people work out their options.

GEM HUNT NO.1 - ZEC or NEAR @NEARProtocol
Well Number One has to be a real winner it has to out perform BTC and ETH and make Xs
So the projects that are directly interwined are Near the AI Condidentiality Platform that allows ZEC to Deliver on its Message and promises and ZEC itself
ZEC is another BTC Memecoin because BTC is a Meme with a store of value. The big question is do all the OGs who have had their money out of BTC go again as ZEC as the Vehicle because its essentially a Meme it has not upper limit could go to a Trillion or at least 100m MC. It has very limited utility in that you can use it for privacy payments and does that really deserve a 27bn Valuation but as its a Meme Store of Value it has no limit
Whereas Near very clearly has major World changing AI and Privacy Utility and if ZEC continues to pump its highly likely NEAR goes with it.
As for Near could be anything from 2x to a 10x from earlier and even 100bn plus Market Cap in a Blue Skies Scenario
So as I am a Utility real projects type of Investor i pick NEAR.

250% Up since its launch in February this year this Privacy, Confidential OnChain Finance is likely to be the big winners of this Cycle
AT 224m MC its hard to see how many Xs are left in it, I am speculating between 2 to 10 and in a blue skies Scenario 40x ( but that is a dream and not one to pin any hopes on)
Id suggest you read up and DYOR on the protocol but its the number one privacy Defi Chain and there really isnt anything else doing what it is doing.
NEAR does some of it but also does a lot more but confidential DEFI focus I don't think anyone comes close.

Following on from yesterday's Pick i have chosen a low cap assymentrical risk play that I am very bullish on
WHAT IS ROUTE
The best way of describing Route in Simple terms is the JUPITER of RobinHood. However since getting involved with the project the Doxed Dev @rapidssh has now moved the dial that Route operates on other chains as well as Robin Hood.
MC at time of this post is 3.4M MC and since I first bought at 6m MC it has been as low as 1.7m MC. I have since traded my position by buying the dips and selling some off at higher levels to bring my average entry level to 2.2m MC
As the guys at @getbeanstock will tell you the first pump went from 1m to 7.6m MC and now is settling in a 2.4m to 3.4m Range
For me this type of project is a hold until the lights get switched on but also might take some time but its an assymetrical bet (Always Manage Size to Market Cap Ratios) in that other than the project going to zero the downside up until now is capped at 1.7m MC and my average entry is 2.2M against possible upside of 10m to 100m MC or even higher. but 10m MC is a 4x for me on my position.
As always DYOR go and visit the site and investigate the previous work of the Dev and make your own valued call and as always NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE
The Developer continues to ship and build every day and only time will tell if the project gets to where it should

Some of the Cryptos I made money on included TAO (from 50$) QUBIC (from 300$ a Billion) KAS (from 0.01) and SUI (from 60 Cents)
Thats just to give you a flavour of what I am looking for in finding hiden gems that can at least 10x and that you can put some size into (this has been very difficult last cycle)
Basics can this project change Crypto forever and is the team doxed enough to carry out the roadmap. Whilst I made money on all 4 KAS got overtaken by better and more relevant tech and Qubic failed to get Adoption. SUI and TAO are clearly here to stay.

During my research I looked into the founder @open_founder and the team and really liked what i saw a team that continues to build.
At only 20m MC the question i ask myself is why a major AI company like AI or Anthropic just doesnt buy the company and incorporate it into its structure. It would cost a lot more than 20m to add that research and skill set to their current businesses

This is a much better more detailed post than mine sums it up perfectly
$SERV is starting to look different🗿
Three month downtrend broken.
September low → higher low.
Now grinding around $0.029.
That doesn’t look like a random bounce to me. It looks like a base starting to get bought.
MC is around $22M.
Main pool liquidity is around $1.7M pretty meaningful relative to the cap.
Volume is waking up.
Bids are holding.
And the product is actually moving.
The reasoning API went public Sept 10. Builders can use it today, and the hackathon is still open through the 28th.
They also put Jev through the same benchmark setup they use for frontier models.
On their numbers, SERV on top of Jev beat Claude Fable 5 at roughly 30x lower cost, while the same stack came in cheaper than GPT-5.5, Gemini 3.5 Flash and Grok 4.3.
Those are their benchmark results, so I’m not treating them as gospel.
But that’s the important part:
There’s an actual product behind the token.
Aerodrome emissions are already live on Base.
EPAA is in.
SOC 2 and ISO are in progress.
And the lane they keep targeting is clear: banks, fintech and enterprise AI.
This is the kind of AI name I like, watching something that was shipping while the chart was dead, and now the chart is starting to answer.

Ireland is following the guidance, labeling crypto "highly complex and risky" while allowing stocks, bonds and ETFs including crypto ETFs.
