The bike lobbyists are really mad because this bicycle rider had to pay attention and then slow down to a stop for a truck making a turn.
Just like literally everyone else who uses the road has to do sometimes.
The entitlement is off the charts with these people. This is a city, and in a city we all have to deal with certain minor inconveniences.
Yet these people invariably throw a tantrum when presented with any slight delay for completely normal city things, like the presence of other humans who are not also riding bicycles.
How @emily_lip almost got "right hooked" by a truck driver in Queens last week — days before a girl was killed by a truck driver in Manhattan on Friday.

The city installed two fairly aggressive speed bumps in the neighborhood recently and the local facebook group lit up with complaints that folks were forced to drive 15mph next to an elementary school. Speed bumps on every residential street!

Road rage driver Joseph Hedley was in court this week pleading guilty to assault. Cyclist Iain Brown was left with a serious brain injury, including a fractured skull & bleeding on the brain.
Hedley will be sentenced next month.
